Hope to be there but may have to forego the pleasure due to a family occasion.
I hope to be welcoming Nicky Sat night in Athleague though  :)

General discussion / Re: Rangers Fans At It Again

Most GAA crowds are so enthralled in the amount of action on the pitch they done have to be singing silly songs or chants to keep themselves amused.
That's what gives Soccer games "atmosphere" - not forgetting of course gallons of porter beforehand and in the case of Rangers  plenty of bigotted songs.

Galway and Mayo will continue to dominate Connacht.

God help us what an awful prospect  >:(
Hopefully we can get back to our once proud tradition of spoiling their parties every few years.

Arent the Dublin crowd great all the same?
You know some of them even live up to TEN MILES from Croke Park and they can still get there before their game is over.

Why was the game put back 15 minutes anyway?

Jesus lads ye must have little to be complaining about.

Exactly Galway. It must be because the Ulster Champions are out that they are so grouchy  :P

According to Slugger O`Toole the Love Ulster parade has been cancelled. Seems like Willie Frazer cant get . He also indicated that Government figures in Dublin (including the Taoiseach) would be prepared to meet him in the Autumn."

It's a wonder Bertie didnt give him a seat in the Seanad among his 11 tossers ...eh.. Nominees

And is anyone asking where is Ulster Football heading after their champions got dumped yeaterday?
Next week could well see Derry and Monaghan( I hope not in both cases) being dumped which would leave no Ulster team in the last 4.

non-nationals get a hard time in Ireland?

Like being burnt out/intimidated into leaving  Loyalist areas in the 6 north Eastern Counties for example.
I think that's giving people a hard time but then again after 2 or 300 years of doing it to "fenians" that probably seems normal behaviour to  Gway.....
