I would see an awful lot of similarity between the OO and the KKK.
Both organisations run on hatred of what they see as inferior beings and see themselves as the elite guardians of a master race of superior beings.
When an Orange Order leader says that he and his organisation view Catholics/Nationalists(Gaels even) as being equal in all respects and therefore due respect from all OO members then I will change my view as expressed in the first sentence above.

I suspect I won't live to hear it. ::)

And no, such permission was given by the populations at large at the time of incorporation into the British empire. Care to explain how this has relevance to my point that what Powell was arguing for was the highest standard of treatment for all British subjects/CUKCs?
Giving the Asians and Africans back their lands and paying reparations for all the evils inflicted on them would have served them better.

Presumably all these British "Subjects" ( not citizens LIKE us) in Asia and Africa were asked for and GAVE permission before their lands were taken over and made such "subjects" ::)

Obviously the chips are still on the Northern shoulders .

I doubt if it's written in the Treoir Oigigiúil. Therefore it's only a practice not a rule ?

From North Ros follow N4 onto Mullingar bypass, N52 to Delvin and N 51 to Navan.
Will be going via Trim myself as I have something to attend to there, prob go via Raharney/Ballivor.

Leaving aside the "Social Service obligation" games in London/N York...it took 8 weeks to play the FOUR home based games in the Connacht Championship.

Five weeks is the max needed to play those games plus a contingency 6th weekend for a Final replay.

As for poor Galway and Antrim ...a team going from Round 1 Qualifier to the Qtr Finals would play FIVE high profile intense Championship games on successive weekends.

Is it not time to be looking at playing some Provincial Finals on Saturdays and while we're at it why can't both Football Semis be played the same weekend, one Sat/one Sun?

- the only problem is that Republicans lack the honesty to admit it and Unionists the intelligence to recognise it.

Oh well.

It must be very frustrating for you that the rest of the world hasnt got your great talents  ::)
So no attempt to "play the ball" this time, either, Rossfan?

E G your balls are far too long and tedious for me in my limited time to play them.

I presume EG and other Unionists will also hang their heads in shame for the sins of their predecessors.... Stealing lands that didnt belong to them,
denying civil rights to native Irish/Nationalists/Catholics for 470 years,
Engaging in repression and wholescale murder of the plain people of Ireland,
Running a rotten political slum for 50 odd years,
Disgraceful pogroms towards Catholics and .....
there isnt room to write all the shite that shower visited on us.

New system for Tankie ... Dublin play each of the 31 Counties in Croke Park, 2 points for a win/1 for a draw. Other 31 Counties only play that one game.
At the end of the 31 weeks all the points are totted up and whoever has  the most are All Ireland Champions.
That way the media get to talk about Dublin every week and only have to mention other Counties once, Croke Park gets used 31 times a year for real football and of course Dublin have a great chance of winning Sam more often.

;D ;D ;D ;D

4,864 official attendance at the Hyde. It looked like about 7,000 but u 16s werent being charged so both figures could well be accurate.
Probably 64 from Wexford.
