Was calling for O' Gara all day, once it was clear our plan A was dropping balls into the full forward line, but didn't think he made much of a difference when he came on.  In part that was because we were already controlling things for about 10 mins before that, but more so that he played very deep.  When he got the ball he was never in the danger zone, and never seemed to show between the sticks for the high ball in.

I can handle Donegal putting 14 men behind the ball, but the continual diving and feigning injury was a disgrace, among many other examples Durkan getting up twice after a free out to block a shot on goal then hitting the deck for three minutes.

Though I'm in the minority camp here finding Donegal's tactics fascinating in general.  Absorbing game.

god be with the days when Dubs would swagger. They are so psychologically traumatized by recent years and by 34 years of being beaten by us that they have suppressed an essential part of their character.

Haven't seen the game since the day, but as I recall the big mistake was moving Ryan into defence, when he'd been dominating midfield.

Have to laugh at the comments here.  Ref kept Tyrone in it during the first half with some very soft frees.

Here's hoping that run continues next weekend.

Everything went right for Dublin last year v Tyrone and they don't seem to be at the level they were at last year.Unless B Brogan hits form Tyrone could beat Dublin handily enough.

Dublin have actually played better than they did last year thus far in the championship.  Remember, they were blessed to get to extra time against Wexford, and were hammered by Meath.  Only turned it on against Tyrone and Cork.

Hanging around for another week while Tyrone* come through sharp as nails - 2008 written all over it again.

4 week layoff is bad, but on the positive side, there is now a path to a final without having to play either of the top two.
