Congratulations Mayo; better team won.

For all of those Mayo posters moaning about McQuillan's "ties" to the Dubs:

Cork must be sick of the sight of green and gold in Croke park.

Don't know about Toronto, but if you have your laptop, there's often a link up here on gameday:

Quite enjoying this one.  Good, tight, hard fought game.

Dublin will be a different animal against Mayo.  Alan will be back, Bernard is unlikely to have two such poor games in a row, and Dublin respect Mayo more than they do Laois (from bitter experience).   I wouldn't read too much into either team's performance today.

I find them very boring to watch.  I'd say if Italy played this way people would be tripping over themselves to say it was a bore.  But because Spain have a reputation of being an attractive side, the tag doesn't stick.

That said, there's no requirement for Spain or any other team to be fun to watch.

Have to admire Greece.  For a very limited team, who can look as bad as they did in the first halves of their first two games, this was quite an achievement today.

Russia fail to get out of the group of life does that make Ireland look even worse?

Ireland can't be made to look worse.

He won the point for them.   Certain goal if he hadn't taken down the striker.  Always a chance the penalty is missed.  Well worth the red.

Disgraceful decisions.  Very poor ref.

Think it will be a Cork - Kerry final and as much as it pains me to say it, Kerry will win because we can't beat them at Croke Park.

Dublin and Tyrone also there I think.

The double-header final.  An interesting new development in our games.

One game in early Feb, with half the team that won the All Ireland starting.  Wouldn't be judging them on that at all.

That said, had Kevin Mc's second half goal chance gone under rather than over the bar, they might have even nicked it.

Haven't heard that from too many Dubs myself.  Definite missed opportunity to get to a final, but it's not like playing Kerry would've been a handy one.
