Right, after years of a clean driving record, I got a lovely letter in the post this morning informing me that I was doing 45mph in a 30 zone at 5 to 10 on a Sunday morning.
What can I expect points wise and fine wise for the above??

A friend of mine received a penalty notice before Christmas, she was clocked doing 52mph in a 40 zone (she was on the Ballygawley line). Got £60 fine, 3 penalty points and had to attend a 4 hour Speed Awareness course. She also had a clean record before this. I would imagine you will probabaly get something like this too.

When I say I'll pray, I do. I say a Hail Mary and an Our Father, whilst keeping the subject of the prayer in my mind.

I do the same, keep the person in mind when praying.

I used to work in a garage/shop in my younger days and a fella used to come in all the time for his lunch from a nearby pig farm. The smell was horrendous and he'd get lashed into the sandwich no problem. He was that used to the smell it didn't bother him. Couldn't have helped his love life though.

For any DiCaprio fans, The Basketball Diaries is on TCM tonight at 10.55pm. Very good film and he is excellent in it.

I like that list Canalman, especially Wicker Man (the one with Edward Woodward). Another one I thought was good too was Race with the Devil with Peter Fonda, think it was made in the 70's.

Salem's Lot was brilliant and I remember being freaked out by that scene of the young boy at the window. Another film I found totally disturbing was The Exorcist. I watched it once and vowed never again.

I'm thinking of heading to the cinema some night this week, but not sure what to see. Narrowed it down to two:

1:- The Fighter
2:- True Grit

Which would you all recommend.

The Fighter is brilliant

The Fighter. Loved it. Bale is fantastic in it.

First heard this song played out in one of the episodes of the Sopranos. Nils Lofgren, Black Books. He played with Bruce Springsteen and the E street band. The Guitar solo at the end is superb. Love this song.
