One of my earliest footballing idols, him and Martin McQuillan in the eighties and early nineties were prob my two favourite Armagh players.  A great man and a sad loss at only 49.

Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

My only worry is that Italy were level with Australia at half time and them got humped :(  We need even more effort from the lads second half

Game can be watched here

Apologies to those who might not appreciate the mighty Zep but I've been updating the laptop with the whole back catalogue tonight and its always worth the while to remember how great they were.

I don't know many bands with the raw talent and the gall it takes to place bucolic folk next to rock music and not flich for a beat.

Unfortunately I'm a few too many years too young to have caught them live but c'est la vie.

For those who dig that heavy metal (underneath your hood)

Great tune, I like the Indian style of this version. Was the song loosely lord of the rings based??

On a side note if you have 'for God and Ulster'  why not 'For God and Ireland' thus removing the need for any choice whatsoever*

*assumes we are the chosen people, which would make us the 5556th group to claim this status
