Don't forget the old pitch in Davitt Park was 154m long, which was 9m longer than the maximum and caught a lot of teams out over the years. Kicking the ball into the full forward line from midfield didn't always get there, of course the scary people of Lurgan was a big factor too and their wives giving out at the wire...is it any wonder teams couldn't get outta there quick enough.

What are the dimensions of the new pitch at Davitt Park?

As Boycey said, I would love to see Fosu-Mensah or Tuanzebe getting an opportunity now that Bailly is out. If thats the case , Blind should be played as a holding midfielder alongside Herrera, with Carrick used on occasion. Defensively solid, and can pick a pass too. Would allow Herrera to push further forward and have more of an attacking mindset. Cannot understand why JM doesnt rate Schneiderlin.....

If I were Rochford, I would start big Barry Moran at full forward and bombard Cluxton and the Dub fb with high balls early on, test them out!

Was in Ennis a couple of weeks ago. If the Athletic Grounds only holds 16,500 I would not want to be in Ennis when nearly 15,000 there. Would think 10,000 would be closer to the mark.

I believe the Athletic Grounds can hold 19,500 but health and safety reduces this by a couple of thousand for all ticket matches - do not get the logic with that though!

I remember watching the Munster u21 hurling final in Ennis last year - close to 14 or 15K at it if my memory serves me right!

Got the team
Neuer; Grosskreutz, Ginter, Howedes, Durm; Kramer, Kroos; Schürrle, Reus, Draxler, Gomez

Team that played in WC Final
Germany: Neuer, Lahm, Boateng, Hummels, Howedes, Khedira,Schweinsteiger, Muller, Kroos, Ozil, Klose. Subs: Zieler, Grosskreutz, Ginter, Schurrle, Podolski, Draxler, Durm, Mertesacker, Gotze, Kramer, Weidenfeller.

The whole Germany defence was in the WC Squad, granted they were missing Khedira, Schweinsteiger,Boeteng, Hummels, but not a great sign if there replacements get destroyed.

Khedira missed WC final through injury - Kramer replaced him in the starting team but was then replaced after 25/30 mins or so due to concussion!

Armagh are one of the fittest teams I have seen for a long time, who is their trainer?

McGeeney brought the trainers he had at Kildare with him I think. Their name escapes me at the moment

Julie Davis. She was with Cavan before Kildare, along with Grimley.

Julie Davis is the S&C coach and James Doyle is the Speed coach

Massive game tomorrow. 3 points would be good but I think it will be difficult.

RVP and Rooney missing. No chance. Chelsea 2-0, maybe 3.

A lot of talk that both Rooney and RVP have travelled with the squad and are available for selection
