Don't forget the old pitch in Davitt Park was 154m long, which was 9m longer than the maximum and caught a lot of teams out over the years. Kicking the ball into the full forward line from midfield didn't always get there, of course the scary people of Lurgan was a big factor too and their wives giving out at the wire...is it any wonder teams couldn't get outta there quick enough.

As Boycey said, I would love to see Fosu-Mensah or Tuanzebe getting an opportunity now that Bailly is out. If thats the case , Blind should be played as a holding midfielder alongside Herrera, with Carrick used on occasion. Defensively solid, and can pick a pass too. Would allow Herrera to push further forward and have more of an attacking mindset. Cannot understand why JM doesnt rate Schneiderlin.....

If I were Rochford, I would start big Barry Moran at full forward and bombard Cluxton and the Dub fb with high balls early on, test them out!

Was in Ennis a couple of weeks ago. If the Athletic Grounds only holds 16,500 I would not want to be in Ennis when nearly 15,000 there. Would think 10,000 would be closer to the mark.

I believe the Athletic Grounds can hold 19,500 but health and safety reduces this by a couple of thousand for all ticket matches - do not get the logic with that though!

I remember watching the Munster u21 hurling final in Ennis last year - close to 14 or 15K at it if my memory serves me right!
