How many Nationalists in the North take part in Dublin gang scumbaggery ?

Would you also like figures on nationalists in the south and west? If they're neutral on the national question are they excluded from the stats?

Where's the public outrage about this private school educated hypocritical sponging cnut?
If a FFr/FGr tried that they'd be forced out of the Dàil while if it was a SFr the Indorag would be in full cry.

The article is from the Indo. They are pro Irish Water. They are anti-left. Where do you stand? You are anti wealthy (LEFT), anti Indo (LEFT) anti Sinn Fein (RIGHT), anti Indo when attacking Sinn Fein (LEFT), anti-won't pay for anything brigade (RIGHT). Anti Unions (RIGHT), Union member (LEFT). Do we tot them up and see who wins? A pair of beach sandals wouldn't flip flop as much as u.

The Irish left are a bunch of careerist opportunists who think everything should be free except for "the rich".
I would be quite amenable to a sustainable social democracy but I can't see this .

Also FF are shameless opportunists and FG are weak and lily livered .

I heard Alan Dukes and another "retired" politician lament the rise of Independents and AAA/PBP on the radio. Didn't register with them that their popularity is a direct result of the actions of their own party. The arrogance of FG is their undoing.

As an aside I wonder will the people who labelled non-payers as spongers accept the refund? Hypocrites if they do. There were a few on this board who had no problem paying.

They'll have no problem taking a refund either.

Worrying laoislad, I don't think you'll be far from the truth for once.

::)

Maybe if they had LVG's £300m

I think Klopp is a good enough manager to get what he needs out of the amount of money he will be given. Before taking the job he would know how much was available to him and I don't think he would have taken the job if he didn't think it sufficient to compete with the Top 4.

I'd say professionalism sucks a lot of the enjoyment out of sport.
Plus, its much harder on your body so its possible the lads that came back are carrying injuries.

I think some of them also struggle from the less controlled environment of it too, in terms of going back to 'normal' life of college or work.

What managerial experience had Zidane before become Real Madrid Manager? They could win the La liga and Champions league this season.

He's been managing Real Madrid Castilla in the Segunda Division the past couple of years.

No doubt Tony Fearon will explain to us what they don't have in common. Their sense of humour perhaps.

Northerners, according to the bould Tony are more religious than their southern counterparts.

And he gets most of the people on the board hook, line and sinker. I just skip his contribution to threads about nationality at this stage.

I know you're on the wind up but a Fermanagh Catholic farmer hasn't very much in common with Larne, Newtownards, Ballymena etc.
However he has an awful lot in common with people in Cavan, Leitrim, Longford etc etc.

What would a Fermanagh farmer have in common with someone from Longford?
Wet fields, not much use at football, country music
Also nationality, culture, family names.......
Only a unionist, a UKIPite or a total partitionist would ask that question

A better question would be what do they not have in common?

Muppet, it's a conversation forum. Of course the article is biased, it's an opinion piece in which one person puts forward their point of view. It is up to others to create a conversation around that where they can get their point of view across and allow people to make up their minds. It's not a requirement that when starting a new thread that the OP has to post a link to both sides of a debate.

Anyone from Ulster or the 6C that gets offended by the term 'Nordie' or 'Northener' needs to catch themselves on and have a look at which part of the country their county lies in. A lot of people consider Cavan/Monaghan/Donegal people as northerners anyway - because Ulster is in the north of the country.

The trouble comes with some gobshites calling you 'British' or (almost as bad) 'Northern Irish'. A lot of these people subscribe to the modern revisionist view of Irish history and are more interested in furthering the cause of a neutered and PC world than educating themselves about the plight of 6 County Catholics and doing something about it. Don't you know that waving flags (apart from rainbow flags) is uncool?

Quick lesson for some:

How managers pick representative squads: they look for players who lead the way in terms of ability, athleticism, attitude and aptitude. They will build their team around the players who score highly in all four areas, and when they don't have enough of those, will fill the squad out, and build specialist roles, for those who excel in three areas, and with players who excel in two areas but show signs of potential to be coached for improvement in the others.

How managers don't pick representative squads:  1. by referencing the importance of the regional breakdown of the 1991 senior team in selection meetings. 2. by ignoring the advice of trusted football men from across the county, and most of all, 3.  by drawing a line just south of Kilcoo and using it as the new first parameter in every squad decision.

If a player is both good enough and willing, he will be found.

Posts like that are too sensible for this board thewobbler!

Your right Ross , doesn't matter where the manager comes from as long as the squad is a fair representation of the best talent in Down, that I doubt as  i know there are players who would make this squad from east down and have been overlooked, which doesn't make sense.
Secondly , as long as he is the best coach around, I'm told his coaching skills are not in question but his antics along the sideline are, I think if he is to be a future manager for Down his management team would need to contain a couple of seasoned football campaigners who could rein him in.

And last year's team with a South Down manager had South Down players that were overlooked that should have been starting or on the panel. Just because players from a certain part of the county are overlooked does not mean that there is a bias.
