Continuing a worrying trend from the league is that Tiernan McCann was badly off the pace.
His defensive abilities were always very questionable but his attacking output always seemed to make up for it to justify him being on the team. But hes not offering anything at all at the moment. Somehow he lasted the 70 minutes, which is obviously down to reputation. Tyrone can't be expecting a long summer with him in this form.

Thought mccann and harte were poor today. They seem to be impossible to sub thought no matter how they play. Mickey would need to be more ruthless in this regard, jim gavin wouldn't hesitate to sub a poor performing player.

Overall it never looked like a game we would lose even when derry got the goal. Bigger battles ahead and i suspect mickey is playing his cards to his chest.

Hang on a minute? Stumbled upon a new formation? Long ball into big target man has been used successfully by teams for over a hundred years. I wish Tyrone players would do less interviews.

Lol to clarify I obviously meant new to Tyrone. Seems to be a lot of interviews recently. Ironically seems to be more now than in the lead up to the AI final

Interesting read http://www.irishnews.com/sport/gaafootball/2019/03/26/news/forward-reassignment-was-stumbled-upon-at-training-insists-tyrone-s-mattie-donnelly-1582541/

Appears the players stumbled on this formation instead of it being a worked on plan. You would have to question if the players didnt find this out would mickey have stuck to the same game plan that has failed many times before?

The real test will be i tight games and Tyrone go a fee points down if mickey can resist trying to defend a loss. No matter what happens i hope tyrone stick to this current style of football. I would rather watch them get beat playing like this than mass defending.

Does this suggest player power?

Hopefully the players are being more vocal and are voicing their beliefs more. It sort of paints the managment in a less than postive light if they didnt foresee a need to change tactics before the players did.

Like last Sunday?

Yes like last Sunday. Although i have a feeling that going down a few points in a national league game will be slightly different than say an ai semi final. The temptation to revert back to old ways will be strong.

Really hope we continue to play like this regardless of the opposition. This would give the players great confidence and allow more time to perfect it.

Here is the official response from MJ's estate:

https://mjjjusticeproject.wordpress....ing-neverland/

Watched the documentary last night, it is just the 2 lads telling their story, more of an interview than a documentary. Unless new evidence is found somewhere it is hard to see how they would ever win a case in court. You can see from the details in the estates response that the 2 lads credibility would be ripped to shreds quite easily.

After reading the forbes story i am not even going to bother watching the documentary now. Its a bad sign of the times when alleged allegations by 2 people can get you stripped from history.

Wow.

Let's do this quick.

To be honest i would rather rewatch the numerous trials that he was put through including an FBI investigation all of which found him not guilty instead of watching a one sided "documentary".

The clue is in the title of the thread - we are talking about this documentary, not about his trials. And you are perfectly entitled to call it one-sided. Once you watch it. Which you haven't. And using inverted commas to emphasise your "scepticism" is a little "overblown" and "redundant" given the overall tone of your posts. Just a "style tip" for you.

Try believing actual facts and evidence rather than reality tv.

I'll be coming back to this one, but I will just say, as you haven't seen the "documentary" you are in no position to classify it as "reality tv" - you see what I'm doing here?

I am not defending him but anyone can say things about you when your dead. People are too quick these days to believe everything they hear instead of doing some research.

You are defending him. See your point just above about facts and evidence.

Tell me this does the "documentary" answer why they supported him was he was alive and didnt sue him them?

"Yes". It does. You should "watch" it.

I will just leave this here for you to read and get back to me as you have seen the documentary. Please begin to explain this

Wow you are grumpy. So you would perfer to discuss the documentary rather than actual facts which dispute the entire documentary.

I used inverted commas because a documentary is defined as "a film or television or radio programme that provides a factual report on a particular subject." This cannot be a documentary then as it doesn't provide actual facts or evidence. If it did he would have been jailed.

I will watch it this weekend and get back to you. But as i said before unless it provides actual evidence then it simply should not be taken as fact.

Again im not defending him. I am following the rule of the law...iinnocent until proven guilty. Glad your not a judge.

If Jacko was a pedo then the kids should sue their parents as well for putting them in danager. Who in their right mind would let their own kid stay over at a mans house who they barely knew.

Havent seen the documentary but i would not be rushing to believe 2 people who swore under oath that mj had not abused them while he was alive.

If you are a parent would you take 22milion over justice for your kid? The whole the stinks of a money grab ploy to be honest.

You would have to think that there are easier ways to make money than baring your soul on a documentary and exposing yourself to the worst type of online vitriol and hate from legions of single diamante glove wielding weirdoes. In fact, given the baffling vitality of his fan base, a book entitled "MJ - Cool Guy - Defo Not A Paedophile" would be a much simpler way of cashing in?

Perhaps before saying The whole the stinks of a money grab ploy to be honest you might rectify this Havent seen the documentary ?

Good man.

Wonder if that was a deliberate or as a result of the Thailand holiday. After AI final i thought Tyrone should target the league this year to give the lads some confidence. We dont seem to be targeting the league for the past few years.

Seems strange that they target the mckenna cup but not the league

Declan Bogue on off the ball today saying he'd heard from a good source that the tyrone panel were approximately 6 weeks behind last year's fitness levels at this stage. Makes sense when you see performances recently. Much better support from runners that was very poor in first two games.
#1154
Fair play Tyrone tonight. Didnt see that performance coming. If we could play like that more often it would give us hope. Well done.
#1155
It was hardly a contest. Not one tyrone supporter i talked to had any belief in winning the final. Please stop with the we got to an ai final last year. The only decent team we played on route was monaghan.

Can you honestly say if we had of played kerry or mayo in the semi final that we would have won?.

Its time to be realistic and stop blinding hoping for a miracle. We will not be close to winning an ai for at least another 4 years.
