Talk is cheap.
Running a marathon is not.

So running a marathon gives you a free rein to say what you want, no matter the offense it may cause? No!
Who said that ;D
What utter claptrap.
Check back and read the words I have written before, with your intelligence not your emotions.

Average salary figures should be taken in the context that most of salaries are under €30K pa.

As Tommy says it's okay if you don't get the Down Syndrome reference as you can always come and have a laugh about the Romanians, duck sex, Offaly and Travellers.

Tommy ran the marathon in aid of the Down Syndrome charity.

I happened to watch "Ok baby" last night with references to those jokes.
He was on the edge with a lot of the jokes. Its mostly shock humour... and I laughed a few times.

But for the most part it was a shite DVD
He has lost his story telling and ability to see the really funny things in life.
Instead he goes too far with insults and pushes the boundaries of who can be insulted.
He has lost the run of it, and just isnt as funny as he used to be.

I have seen him live twice and would have seen most of his DVDs and that show in America and him walking around Ireland.
And some of his best friends are jews

Talk is cheap.
Running a marathon is not.

And what was the point behind the drug mule reference?
If you take comments at face value and also you take offense easy, then ignore Tommy Tiernan.

Go listen to Hal Roach or Bottler instead  ;D

Looks like kids are still being (indirectly) indoctrinated to hate catholics.

I think he is a good player.

If he was available, Trap would have to rethink the 2 holding CM system.
That makes two outright impossibilities.

You'd have to be the equivalent of a hyperactive serial killer to get a notification in a Donegal person's black book.

I see Dan Brown, on his website does NOT claim that the documents are indeed fact. He just claims that they exist ;D

he claims
'that the documents, rituals, organization, artwork, and architecture in the novel all exist.  The "FACT" page makes no statement whatsoever about any of the ancient theories discussed by fictional characters. Interpreting those ideas is left to the reader'.

Certainly the "prieure documents" do exist and widely believed to be a crude hoax without a shred of support offered by anyone  anywhere to substantiate them
I'd say the Da Vinci Code based on the veracity of those documents would have about as much cred as the zaniest 9/11 conspiracy theory which states that the Aliens did it,  because we know they were capable of it, as demonstrated by their evil awesome power in the film Independence Day.

On his Facts page, there  is a confused jumble of phrases such as "widely believed to" "all seem to"  "a messsage that hints" "rumoured to"   joining together a lot of other words to construct sentences.

Interesting essay from this guy, takes a bit of time to read through though.

http://www.fiu.edu/~mizrachs/poseur3.html

With that essay the question you have to ask is,  do the "prieure documents" have validity?
No credible historian has been able to verify anything other than the total implausibility of those documents, after long investigations failing to even find a morsel of substance.
The Da Vinci Code accepts these documents as historical fact.

it is as incredible as Indiana Jones.
Or do people believe in Indiana Jones?

There is no problem if you enjoy a book like the Da Vinci Code, however it is a work of complete fiction

The so called claimed facts in the book fall at the first obstacle, The Priory of Sion.

MainStreet.

He would not be the first to take offence to Don Givens who seems to be a pretty miserable sort but two wrongs domn't make a right so the best dose is ignorance and the real offenders here are the simpleton media who keep bringing it up.
True about Givens, but SI has defined that pattern with every Irish manager.

In SI's case it was probably about the only time Irish football fans thought Given's was talking sense.

Comparisons are part of the discussion and you did mention something about a message behind Bill's comedy.

Generally I wouldn't take Tommy Tiernan's attempts at comedy at face value. A lot of it is context, and expression/delivery. Appreciation of how he does it, is up to personal taste.

My point, if I have one, is not directed at you.
Bill Hicks often enough has said outrageous enough things but the accent he says it in as well as delivery, defines the context
