Id prefer the Club Championship didn't start at all till the end of July to prevent the mass exodus to the states. Any club put out in the 1st round are going suffer, Loughmacrory are one such example who will be in real danger of making the drop to Junior.

I'd imagine his gripe his that the new rule which has a direct impact on every county team wasn't directly communicated to the inter county managers. This would have been a reasonable step to take.

It was passed at Congress in April '09.

The Tyrone county board had a full delegation at it.

It's not an unreasonable expectation that they'd communicate major rule changes to IC managers.

I don't believe for a second anyway that he didn't know about it..
