McStay reckons that neither Kilkenny or Connolly deserved a yellow card despite the evidence on camera!

I'd side with McStay. Both were dragged into a yellow card. Neither were the aggressor. It's one thing I hate about the game!

Neither had they to get involved. The Dubs were winning by a bucketful, they should be able to laugh in the aggressors face and point at the scoreboard. Connolly blocked a quick free then got involved in afters. Kilkenny could have walked away without a card as well, but he decided to grab the lilywhite by the scruff of the jersey/neck. I understand why it happens in a close, tight and intense match, but not in a training session like that.

The fella in charge of the Westmeath/Eastmeath match has clearly been reading this thread. I've seen more frees given for over-carrying in this game than all of the other matches combined that I've watched this season.

Donegal would be bigger favourites than Ros were against Sligo. If they achieve a performance anything like they did at the Athletic Grounds, then it will be another walk over for them.

I wouldn't worry about Derry troubling Durcan and Gallagher will probably have another stroll in the park.

An early goal in any game is a huge psychological boost to one team and a huge psychological blow to the other.Doesnt matter what code.This is particularly true in a game like yesterday,overhyped since the draw was made.

Of course Donegal are further advanced and experienced than Armagh,but they are not as far advanced as the score line and respective performances seemed to suggest yesterday.
