Antrim / Re: Antrim, the way forward

Like many I would like to see a major shake-up, but one wee thing niggles me.  The Antrim Vision Cultural Officer nominee on the literature tweeted by Antrim Post and re-tweeted by Club Aontroma says he's represented his club in Scor for the past 8 years.  Well I've been to practically every Scor event in the county throughout that period and I only ever saw his club on the odd occasion.  Have I missed something or are candidates CV's being exaggerated?  I sincerely hope not.  I'm just a grass roots Saffron but I don't want any smoke blown at me.  Happy to be corrected, Saffron Vision must have complete integrity.

Well done to the Antrim squad. Great to see the forwards buzzing.  On another note, there was not 1, not 2, but THREE PSNI speed traps between Enniskillen and Ballygawley Roundabout on the way home - does make you wonder...

How do you transition between the P5/6 squad and u12?  Do your u12's take priority?  In other words which team do your stronger P6's train/play for?

After scrapping the Novelty Act, I'll bet Liam O'Neill is lining up UFTM

This must be to divert attention away from this weekends decision to scrap the Novelty Act in Scor.  I can think of no other reason.

Plan each session.
Get as much help as you can - the smaller the coach/players ratio the better.
No negative commentsto children
Good communication with parents.
Spot and fix.

All the prices are totally transparent on the website. You can get sucked in to booking lots of extra activities and it all adds up.  You can save a bit bringing your own bikes if you go car/boat.  Pool access is free and its excellent.

We've been to center parcs three times.  Absolutely brilliant.  It's full on sport for a week though, bikes. Pool, tennis, zip line...... but everything is top class and very well supervised.  And if you like a wee bit of wildlife at the back door of your lodge, it's hard to beat for that as well.  Kids love it, you won't be disappointed.

The top players are well enough looked after, sure the All Stars are having a whale of a time in NYC.

Was watching him against kilcoo and to be honest he isn't turning into top class county standard forward that was predicted by some.  Too easy to handle by a strong corner back.  Pollock never gets much praise but I'd as soon have him out of the st gall's full forward line in the county panel.  But no doubt the Irish News will give him an unearned splash.

Garage at bottom of Antrim road on LHS as you drive up from carlisle circus, I'm sure there's closer but I've used that one. Tenner.

Is there not a new national committee?  Maybe they want to take it forward some other way. As good as it is, there's never any harm in shaking up how things are done - maybe some other process will emerge?

Aghagallon beat Termon in ulster 1/4 final.  Great David McAlernon goal plus poor shooting from Termon got them home.  Warrenpoint in semi.  Tough one but sure why not?

Aghagallon beat Termon by 4 in Ballybofey.
