The three teams I expected to be the bottom 3 were Coalisland, Clonoe and Eglish and three bad results to start with. Edendork's record in starred game is very poor, both teams down 4 very prominent players but losing is a bad result for Coalisland. Clonoe losing well to a managerless Killyclogher is also a bad start after a promising preseason in the Jim Devlin cup but it looks like they have brought nothing new to the table that saw them relegated in 2022.

Can we also spare a thought for poor Killyman. Hopefully 3B next year helps them as a club because that result would be difficult for all involved.

I think Glenelly would have been 3B this year, if it was based on last year's table. Open to correction but I can't see Killyman fairing any better when the League splits

Killyman definitely would fare better against those teams. Be a lot more competitive.

Agree with the point, though I just don't think a split league alone will save Clubs like Killyman

We'll be ok. Split league will help but we've 4/5 lean years ahead then should have decent numbers coming through. Everyone in the club knows it and will be all shoulders to the wheel to keep the thing going.

Demographics have hurt us since our last championship win in 2010 - the sons of the lads that played on that team are still only u10/u12 but there is a good crop of them. Also had a few years were the local primary school had no / only 1 or 2 boys starting P1. Improved now but will take a while to move up the age groups.

Have Killyman bought ground opposite the current pitch for another pitch?

Maybe not another pitch but there's a bit of ground there for development of some sort.

Moy the team to beat in div 2.
Glenelly and Killeeshil should also be close in div 3

None of what would be considered the top teams have played eachother yet so impossible to say really. Although Drumquin will be there or there abouts.
Although probably a very weak Div3 this year as the 3 relegated teams Strabane, Killeeshil and Ta**yreagh are all on a rebuilding process and I don't expect them to challenge

Michael O'Neill must be putting in serious shifts in training

Hearing there has been Senior call ups for Shea O'Hare, Michael Rafferty and Eoin McElholm. Would have been expecting Cassidy and Potter as well but haven't heard anything. Wouldn't surprise me to see them three playing a part over the next 3 games. The pace of O'Hare and McElholm could be a big difference late in games. Pace be one thing our senior team has lost since the All-Ireland win, especially in the middle 8.

McAneney, O'Hare, Rafferty, McElholm and Cassidy rumoured to have got the call up during the week.

Junior league starting this weekend. What are we thinking this year? Killeeshil very hard to look past, expecting a big year from them. In terms of dark horses, I'd be looking at drumquin and glenelly. Two good young sides with plenty of quality.

Hearing Drumquin are looking this game postponed due to Oisin Gormleys participation with Tyrone U20s. Oisin is currently long term injured 

That was a hell of a score by Conor Owens for the equaliser. Seems to have fallen down the pecking order but to come on and do that when the pressues was on was superb.

Is he carrying an injury or what or why was he not starting?
