GAA Discussion / GAA video game

Mojopin Studios from Armagh are developing 'All Star Gaelic Football' for PC, Xbox One and PS4. They've had Darren Hughes and Mattie Donnelly involved doing Motion Capture and they say it's going to be the best gaelic football game ever. That wouldn't be too hard as the last one was a disaster. I'm very excited for this game. It could be a great promotion for the game.

Can't  wait. I was very confident of a Cork win after Tipp beat Dublin, but as the game gets closer I'm getting less confident. I think Tipp have one very good game in them amd if it comes on Sunday they could beat us. What does everyone on here think?

First time these sides have met in a Munster Final since 1992. I don't know what to make of Limerick. Were they really that good against Tipp? Seemed to me like Tipp left that game behind them. Cork are missing Brian Murphy, possibly their best defender. Pa Cronin is back in the team and I think he could replace Murphy at centre-back.

Capacity crowd expected, atmosphere should be electric and hopefully the weather will be like it was for the football final yesterday.

This thread could have been started when the draw was made back in November, it was such a foregone conclusion that these two would end up in the final. Not sure which way it's going to go. League form was very hit and miss for both teams and you can't really base a prediction on the previous two games as any of the teams they played weren't up to much. Hopefully Cork will win, but the fact that it's in Killarney swings it in Kerry's favour, for me.

Squad due to be announced on Tuesday. You would imagine the bulk of the squad will be Welsh. I think O'Connell will be captain, Gatland has never picked a back as his captain in any job, so that's not a good sign for O'Driscoll. Robshaw and Warburton should both be ruled out as contenders in my opinion as neither is guaranteed a place in the test team as they have to compete with each other and Justin Tipuric for the no. 7 shirt.

Of the Irish, O'Connell, O'Driscoll, Sexton, Best, Kearney, Healy and O'Brien are probably guaranteed a spot on the tour. Zebo, O'Mahony, Ross, Ryan, Bowe and Gilroy have all probably got an outside chance of making it. Anybody think Tommy O'Donnell could make it. I think he's in with a chance having made Robshaw look a very ordinary player in the Heineken Cup quarter final.

General discussion / Luis Suarez

He's a great player but he's such a sc**bag. He must be sick in the head to bite another player. He's done it before too. Why exactly does it click in his head to sink his teeth into someones arm when he gets frustrated? Whar's everyone elses opinion on him?

GAA Discussion / Free-taking techniques.

Does anyone have any ideas how to kick the ball further off the ground? I can score from anywhere inside about 35 metres but I'd like to be able to get it from further out.

Looking for gift ideas. I know Lar Corbett has one out. Any others?

GAA Discussion / Cork v Kildare

Should be a tough game for Cork but fancy us to pull through. Kildare are a good side but there awere a few tougher draws we could have got.

On 96fm this morning, there was a poll asking should Roy Keane be the next Ireland manager. This was after Niall Quinn said he should on Ireland AM. So what do ye think?

Personally I think he should get the job at some stage. He would not pick players like John O'Shea, Aiden McGeady and Robbie Keane when we have better players such as Stephen Kelly, James McLean and Shane Long on the bench.

Then players would have total respect for him. The time between international breaks would give the players time to forget how scared of him they are but not enough time for him to forget what he thinks of the players.

Hurling Discussion / Lar is back...

Is this an official site? I'm doubtful he actually is back considering he hasn't trained with Thurles Sarsfields yet. Can anyone confirm this?

Cork looking good after win over Tipp last week. Kilkenny not too convincing against Clare, but they hardly ever have too off-days in a row. Looking forward to it, but I just think Kilkenny will be too strong for us.

Thoughts?

I'm probably just a little early posting this, but I'm excited about the championship. So, I'm wondering what ye're opinions are.

Kilkenny to win it, again?

Tipp to win it off them like 2010?

Galway to have a consistent season and win it?

JBM to turn it around in Cork (hopefully)?

Dublin to deliver the chamionship?

Cork v Tipp next week.Tipp have to be favorites but Cork won't be afraid of them.If Corks forward line could gel,we definetly have enough talent from 1-9 to make a good game of it.Thoughts?

Just thought I'd put a poll up to see what people think.I know I've only put up 8 options but those are who I consider favorites. If you fancy someone else leave it in the comments
