It doesn't matter how Donegal bring back.  Could they bring back the team that won the All Ireland and they still would get hammered come the 30TH May.

At the minute Ambrose Rodgers is one of the top midfielders around and Martin Clarke is going to be one to watch in the coming year for an all star gong

The Leinster Championship is that poor a good U-10 team could win it and when you do you think you are world beaters and spout how you are gonna win the All Ireland but actually choke when it comes to the big games.

Anyone who thinks on betting on Kildare to beat Down is having a laugh. Kildare will be lucky to finish the match with 15 players if recent matches are anything to go by.  Down are the up and coming team to watch out for in the All Ireland.

Who's having the laugh??

Kildare will beat Down.

me.hahahaha  ;D

What the f**k would I know!! D'oh.

Actually Frankie I did take your advice but I took my own along with it and doubled Louth with Kildare. I'l know for next time.

I told you Boojangles and you would not believe me.  Down are the team of the future

Dublin had the potential to have a great full forward in Ray Cosgrove but after he hit the post with the free kick and Dublin ended up losing by 1 point his heqad dropped and was never the same player again.  Can anyone answer me why the Dublin management hang onto Jason Sherlock granted he had one great year when they won the All Ireland and then was talked up to be the next big thing in Dublin football but since then he is just a journey man

If there is to be an eventual rule change there can be only 1.  Go back to the good old days and abandon the back door system and have all teams have to win instead of saying aww sure don't worry if we lose we are in to the back door.

Fair play to the Down Minors on getting a great result.  But like all Dublin Senior teams the Dublin Minors BOTTLED it when getting near the big stages.

Dubs seek change to qualifier format

Disappointed Dublin fans
19 August 2009

Dublin are considering submitting a motion to next year's Congress proposing that the All-Ireland football qualifier format be tweaked in order to aid provincial champions.

Despite winning the last five Leinster football titles, the Dubs have failed to progress further than the All-Ireland semi-finals, leading to suggestions that they would be better off taking the qualifier route in their quest for All-Ireland glory.

It has been argued that the provincial champions are at a distinct disadvantage to qualifier teams because they haven't got the luxury of a second chance. Dublin haven't benefited from the qualifiers since 2004 when, after losing to Westmeath in Leinster, they regrouped to reach the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

And now the qualifier issue is set to be discussed at the next meeting of the Dublin county board on September 7.

"There is an anomaly there," Dublin chairman Gerry Harrington said.

"If teams lose up to the provincial finals, they have a second chance, but if you win your province and then lose a quarter-final, you're out."

This article was taken from the Hoganstand website.

Is there anything the Dublin County Board Won't do to try and win an All Ireland.  If the get to an All Ireland Final (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA) and get beat they will probaly cry that there was something wrong and that an Ulster Team should not be allowed win it.

A surprise omission from the Fermanagh game was Paul Murphy.  After last years game against Tyrone in Newry everybody was saying Brian Dooher was he even on the pitch Murphy had him marked so tight he never even got a sniff of the ball.  After getting a call from the manager on the Thursday before the Fermanagh match to say he starting I will take this team with a pinch of salt as I will be surprised of 6 of the team actually starts.
