Heading this wkend for a 3 day rip.  Think there was already a thread on this, but can't find it!

Good pubs/clubs? Preferably not full of chav's/students, more young professional like

Student town, gonna be hard to miss them with 2 uni's in the city; Durham and Sunderland just down the road too

Plenty in there. Newcastle is full of pubs/clubs. You'll your way about. Avoid the Bigg market at night and you'll avoid the main chav area. Central station or quayside is a bit more mature but the Gate area has a serious range of pubs/clubs.

I've always found it best to just play it ear in Newcastle. You'll enjoy regardless and planning a route really isn't the done thing.
