Ummm, Michael...bad news, it's actually NOT a country and there is no such nationality as a "Northern Irishman".  N. Korea is recognised as a country.  Clearly the whole Kim Jong Il funeral thing has been getting to you.

To find his equal an Irishman is forced to talk to God!

Tony Baloney

Hardly that big a deal. Whether he says country, area, province, statelet etc his intention is still the same. Nothing to see here.

attheraces

Simply letting Aerlik know, it is a country.

It's a recognised country.

After looking at my "Northern Irish" passport, I then checked with Brussels, and they stated that it was a recognised country and definitely not a disputed part of the UK

Minder

Probably disappointing for some on here that a taig is now managing them.
"When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us"

Puckoon

I suppose right in line after the bad mannered drunken Irish abroad (particularly down under) - there's another kind of embarrasing facet to the Irishman. It's the kind you can see in the opening post on this thread - and it ain't Michael O'Neill.

Its no harm that the Ireland B team should become more inclusive.
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.

Whatever. Fact is it's a country, anyone who says otherwise is deluded.

Can you back up this "fact" where its shown to be a sovereign state. Please and thanks.
Best of luck to O'Neil anyways, seems like a decent lad.

attheraces

Oh so now are we arguing that it is a sovereign state?
