I'm assuming you're not that big a boll!x and that you are happy to take some. So what's the limit? How many is too many for you?Quote from: thebigfella on April 26, 2024, 07:04:35 PMQuote from: armaghniac on April 26, 2024, 06:58:06 PMQuote from: Rossfan on April 26, 2024, 05:37:50 PMNobody's asking us to
OK, so how many are we expected to take?
I thought you were taking none and instead shipping to 🇷🇼 ?
What a red herring. Where does it end? Come on, tell us.
Quote from: NAG1 on April 25, 2024, 02:45:48 PMYou have to look at what he was up against. He has been up against the monster that is city. Up against a club that financially outstripped its competitors in the PL by so much for the duration of his stint. And he still managed to get a title and run them close in another few. Not to mention the champions league.Quote from: Turf on April 25, 2024, 01:17:41 PMMaybe he will stand in the centre circle and tell the fans their job now is to support the new manager aka 'the chosen one'.
Klopp is leaving Liverpool far better than he found them. If he had would nothing else apart from the Premier League he would still be considered a legend imo. The fact he won everything there was to win (apart from the Europa League obvs) means he will go down as one of the greatest managers the club has ever had.
Certainly whomever comes in has big boots to fill but they should be given time because it's probably going to take next season at the least to find his feet at such a big club.
Genuinely intrigued that Liverpool fans will hold him in such high esteem, or maybe is it recency bias? He delivered one league title in 9 years?
I get that he is an iconic figure and was box office and even fans of other teams will miss him from the EPL.
Quote from: Truthsayer on April 22, 2024, 08:32:31 AMYou don't think going a man down and how to cope with it is an element that the management should have dealt with in training? I would be asking serious questions about why we opened up so quickly during those 10 mins. That re-organisation lies with management imo.Quote from: tyroneman on April 22, 2024, 07:22:11 AMNah you've still lost me. Maybe I'm not up to speed with gameplans. You mention Derry, they were a shambles at the weekend. Kerry scraped past Cork. I've must have a simpler outlook. Tyrone went away from home and beat a side just beat Monaghan. Things went badly awry on the black card and need to look at why. Sitting in Breffini Park yesterday wat I saw was Tyrone were the much better team and when it was 15 v 15 Cavan wouldn't have won if we were there to next Tuesday. Next up... Donegal.Quote from: Truthsayer on April 21, 2024, 11:15:44 PMQuote from: tyroneman on April 21, 2024, 11:04:40 PMNo issue with players being blooded, transition years, need to gain experience...all that stuff....fine...What does that even mean? Lost their way when Hampsey went off on the black card... need to look at that. They were the much better side.
But surely you should be able to see a plan, a system, some kind of tactics beyond the basic, something to give these players a structure to develop in ...
What that means is exactly what it says. It's great to see new players get brought in and given a meaningful taste of league and championship.
There is also a lot of talent there, which means we can go on scoring sprees and look fantastic for periods. All good. So the raw ingredients are there.
What is not evident is a system or structured gameplay to compete with Dublin/Kerry/Derry (and McGuiness back means Donegal are also a much diffeent prospect).
There is zero consistency in the team, from quarter to quarter, never mind game to game.
Maybe I just dont see/understand the current tactics as well as others and I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

What's a train?
Be patient , RH.
A new train line will be in Tyrone any day now
Quote from: Milltown Row2 on April 17, 2024, 09:31:23 AMIf heating working don't think it's a boiler issue as it's obviously firing. More likely a motorised value or pump issue.Quote from: Last Man on April 17, 2024, 09:18:58 AMSo you have heat in the rads but no HW?
Aye, rads pumping hot, The boiler in fairness hasn't had a check up in a few years, some parts were replaced a while back, was just looking a quick temp fix till I get someone to have a quick assessment on it, she's said someone might call this evening but I'll not hold my breath
Quote from: bennydorano on April 17, 2024, 09:38:22 AMIf you follow Linehan and the likes, the debate is much wider than transgender rights and womens' rights being trampled on tho, its also about young people (some highly vulnerable) transitioning at immature ages, unnecessary surgeries, puberty blockers. Some dangerous stuff becoming orthodoxy.I think most people start of in a reasonable manner but it escalates quickly by both sides. The trying to use extreme scenarios to justify not extending some rights to trans people as mentioned above is bad faith arguments. This just as much as the vilification of people is the issue. It's one of those topics that has fallen into the left/ right identification scale. And as we've seen on here those arguments always end up messy.
Wanting to discuss it in a reasonable manner is not anti anything either. That has been a huge part of the problem, debate being shut down, people being black balled & vilified for daring to question anything.
Quote from: theskull1 on April 15, 2024, 09:46:33 AMDo you want to edit your post to "anyone calling an entire group of people 'freaks' needs to take a look at themselves" so it doesn't look like you're moving the goalposts? Was it not fairly obvious he was replying to Armagh18. Who was calling an entire group freaks.
Quote from: Tony Baloney on April 14, 2024, 11:30:28 PMThere was disproportionate emphasis put on the feelings and needs of a tiny percentage of the population due to an even smaller percentage within that cohort being headbanger activists, aided and abetted by Liberal voices, bullying dissenting voices (mostly speaking sense). That imbalance thankfully seems to be being addressed. Trans people should have their rights but they shouldn't come at the cost of others. Both imbalances need to be addressed. Those happy to label other groups freaks etc should also be shouted down. Hopefully that will continue to be challenged by most people.
