Is that the biggest shock in Down GAA history?

A seriously big shock YES - in Down GAA history? No.

Good result for Dromara.  I had Bright as favourites for that one.  Wonder who they will get in the final?

A truely mouthwatering encounter in prospect. Can't wait.
Two completly contrasting styles that are not likely to allow a repeat of yesterdays fantastic open honest game.  btw I thought Dublin were sublime yesterday against Tyrone.  But it was clear that the Tyrone 15 included many heavy legs that were unable to match Dublin's speed and fitness, Donegal don't suffer that problem.  In the past I would have queried Donegal's fittness in crunch games but their display against the hyper-fit Kildare has removed any such concerns.

I see the game as being much less spectacular that yesterday's and a lot closer.  Score will be at a premiem.
Too close for me to call but if someone were to give me £100 that I had to wager I would opt for the machine-like approach of the young Donegal boys.

Althought I think they will be really up against it against Cross I still would like to see Burren do the business.
Best of luck to them and Bredagh today.

Couldn't argue with Miltown Row
On the Cross v Burren game.  Only chance of an upset will be if Burren deliver an above par game that is matched with a sub par game from Cross.

I would also favour Glenties in their game. Not only did they beat a v.good Contibret but have also come through 3 ry tough and testing games in the Donegal semi, final and final reply.  This is theh best best preparation possible and I feel that will hold them in good stead today.

it leaves Kilcoo and Bryansford the only east Down clubs left in the top flight.

I have always considered Kilcoo and the Ford really as Sth Down teams.  After all they both from the foothills of the Mournes.  Its only some administrative line in-the-sand that decrees they are east down.  Its what is in the heart that really counts and East Down have yet to show that heart.

On this basis East Down are now unrepresented in the top division
