Not true. 2 games suspension is a minimum penalty. They could have thrown the book at him, but they didn't.

Dual players, inter-county managers, replays and county boards with no backbone, being the 4 biggest problems (in no particular order) I can think of to sticking with the master fixture list.

The fifth is surely clubs refusing to play a game until Johnny is recovered from injury/back from suspension/home from holidays/sobered up from the stag/has the garden done so the wife will let him go to matches again.

Doing away with replays would improve the lot of a club player in an instant. "Next score the winner" if still level after extra time (which would also be awesome entertainment and create huge controversy!)

The GPA is an easy target, why doesn't Joe come off his moral high horse and take on the the issue of payments to managers and material benefits to club players particularly those in the Dublin club scene?

He has done so repeatedly, including a brilliant piece not too long ago, on the shambolic carry-on in Dublin club Parnells.

Staying in Division 2 is hardly the be-all and end-all. Armagh didnt manage it this year but they had a great year all round.

If you don't know these basic facts, how can you criticise the CCC so strongly?

The Cavan CCC under the Chairmanship of Gary Robins and Secretary Angela Hamiliton from Shercock DO appoint all referees for matches in the county.

Get your facts right.

Gary Robins isn't CCC Chairman.

Angela Hamilton isn't CCC secretary.

I think theres a rule that drawn matches can't go to extra time & must go to a replay, unless the game is a replay.

It is a kip and it was a kip twenty years ago. It should be flattened to the ground.

Why are referees been accessed at each match if the CCC are ignoring them. Surely the referee accessors panel should be appointing the refs for games and not a few clubs representatives on the CCC  looking after certain teams. CCC don't do it  in Croke Park for county matches so why do we allow it to happen in Cavan.

The Cavan CCC don't appoint referees. The county board uses the exact same process as Croke Park for appointing refs.  The GAA rule book doesn't allow referee assessors to appoint refs.
