GAA Discussion / Re: Gaelic Football - Rules & ...

Well, let's go in order.

1. When the player is in possession of the ball, the ball is held in his hands, he could:
  A. throw the ball in the air and catch it again with your hands? I think not, right?
  B. throw the ball in the air, hit it with any part of the body except arms and hands and then catch it in the hands? I don't think so, am I right?
  C. throw the ball and hit it with any part of the body, maybe like someone throws the ball in the air and then hits it with his head, legal?
  D. Bringing the ball with the hands at head height and then, without either throwing or releasing it, hitting the ball with the head or any part of the body except the hands, legal?

Only division 1 or division 2 also?
Division 1.
Complaints coming in about Eglish and Donaghmore being starred fixtures despite them having no county men anymore as McGleenan, Cush and Quinn have left the panel. Killyclogher also might become an issue if some of their U20s are called up after Sunday's final.

What players are likely to get called up?

Would expect Michael Rafferty to get the call up immediately. Turned down the seniors at the start of the year, so they're definitely keen on him. Wouldn't surprise me to see Potter as well.
O'Hare seems a fairly nailed on call up as well.
The rest are a bit tricky as they're underage. Mcelholm, Hughes, Daly all be worthy of a call up and could be options but are all available again for U20s next year.

Only can name 24 on the actual panel. That's just naming the extended panel out of recognition. They did the same in the Ulster final and McHugh and Nelis took the places of Kelly and Cunningham in the 24 that night.
Ok. Anyway appeal was rejected.

A lad replied to say his appeal failed. Don't see why.
Did you see the video. It's hard to see clearly but the ref was standing looking at it and he didn't react at the time so looked quite inoccuous to me. Looked like his hand pushed him away in chest or maybe throat but yer man goes down holding his face but the ref doesn't react.

Pretty poor stuff from Rory only a handful of guys who made the cut had a worse score. The double bogey was club hacker golf.

Morikawa is looking good, Scottie just keeps plugging away and Schauffele dropping away last week might come back and haunt him again..

11/2 for Colin looks a good price

don't think the London match is being broadcast anywhere.

The U20 football final against Westmeath is live for free on Down TV at 2.15.

The hurlers in the McDonagh cup v Laois is live on clubber TV at 3 for anyone looking to watch those games
