Yeah that was a bit far fetched but then you have to remember Stephen King wrote the books.
Thy guy who played Mr Mercedes was a deadly actor too to be fair.

Myself and the wife have been watching Shetland from S1 through Nov & Dec, now on S7 with only one left after this. Great viewing.

Is Shetland any good with Ashley Jensen? We enjoyed it with Douglas Henshall.

As in the one from 10 years ago? Enjoyed that show.

If you could watch Family Guy, American Dad & Rick & Morty all day on repeat like myself, there's a cartoon called Solar Opposites well worth checking out, S4 now.

Finished the full 8 series now. The last series with Ashley Jensen was every bit as good imo, same but different, Jensen wasn't just a direct DI replacement for Perez, a storyline brought her there.

Slow Horses is brilliant. Just want more episodes and for each one to be 2 hours long.

Haven't started season 3 yet, but the first two were brilliant. And not just for Gary Oldman.

Watching a show called Deadloch at the moment. It's set in Tasmania, where a small town cop has to investigate a serial killer with the help of a burnt out big city detective called in to help. Kind of like those serious (and excellent) British dramas like Broadchurch, but with a good dollop of humour. Very enjoyable halfway in.
