Can't believe this!! I had a lot of respect for Rooney up to his world cup antics (slabberin to the tv cameras). He always struck me as a real old school player. Revelations in his personal life and now  this shite makes me think hes nothing but an immature, greedy chav!

Could do with taking a leaf out of Giggs or Scholes book....

The Port is a good spot for a night out, a few good bars. Accomodation wise you could probably get a handful of guest houses near hand of each other that would be keenly priced for accomodaton.

Alternativley Ballycastle is a great spot. 30 mins for PortstewartYou could play the game and head down there for the night. Great selection of bars and a nightclub for those who are game! We took a team there and got a good deal at the Marine Hotel.

General discussion / Re: Mr & Mrs Robinson

i find the whole thing very calculated, i think its damage limitation...there is something bigger in the water about to come out. Just heard in work today that its common knowledge that Peter Robinson has beat Iris about this years. On numersous occasions his bodyguards have brought the wife to the Royal for attention.

Shes the scapegoat in this who sharade and like previous posters have said will cry insanity when the bigger shit hits the fan. My guess being that Pete has had sticky fingers or been involved in some dodgy dealings and hes going to shift the blame on to dear old wifey.

I actually feel sorry for her.

what about the girl playing with her sleeves roled up to her shoulders...WTF was that all about...was she trying to show her biceps off or is it a fashion thing ::) and that blade prob took the middle out of some poor drunk skunk last night :D

They should be home doing what they're good at...cleaning and washing up. I wouldn't let them thru the turnstyles never mind play on our sacred turf (all be it English turf ;))

Jealousy will get you no where ill decide, you sound like a bit of bregrudger. Maybe your pissed off you never got a run on the 'sacred turf'.

The junior game mightnt have been a spectacle but the intermediate and senior were of a good standard. I suggest you keep your thick as pig shit comments to yourself  ::)

Whats the scoop on the  Cunningham incident documented in today IN?
Who were they playing. If its true sounds very malicious...not what the fella deserves after his dedication to the Antrim cause in the last month especially. So this shit isnt just confinded to the Derry circus.  club scene

Ah get over yerself ye clown. We all accept that Joe was a bit of a bollix when he was at his kissin carryon, but thats all it was. He did it to the Derry fans, not the opposition and he did it every time he scored a goal and there was no malice or provocation intended. I'm surprised you were actually at a match to see him in person. Or was it televised????
Just on the Brolly thing, P Bradley in a huge interview in the Times on Sunday talked about how provbcation is important in the game, about how Brollys bro said to him in 96, if you get a chance kiss those xxxxxx and rub it into them,  and this was the crowd.... At least ricey keeps it on the field.

Could you post a link to that article? Have been searching for it but no luck. Cheers

happy days, 80million in the united kitty, this could make things a little more interesting! Ronaldo was a shadow of him former self this season, looked like a man who just didnt want to be there. Was getting embarrassed watchin all his tantrums too. Wonder how he will make playing alongside Kaka. His ego could take a knock

what is the story with these antrim glory hunters (mc gourty boys, and now Kelly??) who ditch the football to try their hand at making the county hurling side? Is it more glamorous, does it feed their ego's more or what?
