Milltown Row2

House of cards, started it when it first came out, she didn't like it and I sort of stopped watching, restarted watching it. Brilliant show IMO
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Spacey was brilliant in House of Cards, wife wasn't bad either! I'd love to watch Sopranos again, it's not on Netflix?

Thought 1 - 4 of House of Cards was fantastic, thought it drifted the last two seasons and were mediocre, Spacey was a big loss to it.

thewobbler

Spacey was a huge loss but tbh the show runners should have had the nous to close it down after s3.

Watching a sociopath doublecross everyone and everything in pursuit of power is great fun. Watching the same sociopath trying to run a country, remarkably less so.

Does anyone know if there will be another season of Ozark. Really enjoyed it and it was left nowhere near finished.

24 never gets a mention in greatest shows discussion, utterly addictive.

Just saw the new Dexter promo the other day, was brilliant. I get why people didn't like the end of Dexter, the last season was dung on the whole, but Dexter didn't flatter to deceive in the way LOD did last night.

I couldn't have 24 at all.

I've very little time for cop shows where the protagonist(s) continually find themselves alone in dark, suspicious places with no phone coverage. I just can't suspend my disbelief for that.

Yeah they were filming it a few months ago, heard an interview with Charlene Mc Kenna a few months back were she said hew new husband is away to the states to film it at the time.

The West Wing still stands up series 1-4 at least!

Even still some of dexter was, for me, as good as tv as you will see.

The series with Lithgow was first class season 4 I think.

Yeah definitely, completely different show after Sorkin left, Richard Schiff was very upset on the way Toby character went. He said he never would have leaked about the space shuttle and betrayed the president.

Finished the Falcon and winter soldier series.  I thought this was an excellent addition to the marvel series.  I never had much interest in either of these characters from the films but there ya go...

Looking forward to the Loki series in June.
Winter Soldier was my favourite of the Captain America films. Same actor playing Bucky Barnes?

Yes the same fella. Long hair has gone. Decent character. Now trying to put right his past crimes. Atonement

Why are people hating on the LOD finale? I think people build these shows up in their own heads too much and are always destined for disappointment. Same with Game of Thrones. I for one enjoyed it.

thewobbler

It tied things up nicely, while leaving the door slightly ajar for a feature length special.

Twitter seems to be struggling with that. They wanted explosions and twists. Twitter also seems confused about Buckles. He wasn't a criminal mastermind, he just happened to be the last one standing (that we know of) of a network of cops entwined with what used to be a unified organised crime front.
