Watched the first episode of Westworld .. A scientific fiction western thriller .. Intriguing
Big names in it , Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris , James marsden, thandie Newton ..
Been seeing adverts for it for a while now. Looking forward to watching it.

Is it based on the original 1970's film? It starred Yul Brenner and the most wooden actor that ever appeared on film, Richard Benjamin.
Watched it last night. Really big cast in it and seems like it'll be a grower. Def promising but all seems to be in the Western World, not sure of there is medieval or roman world.

Westworld seems very strange but I'll stick with it.

The Fall has pulled the hand brake up this season very slow first two episodes!

Madam Secretary is following a strange tack this second season with the election. Not sure it makes sense!!

National Treasure is heating up well I think the last one is next week. Julie Walters is fair handy at the aul acting.

Brooklyn Nine Nine has started the new series as it left off. Great comedy!

If anyone gets a chance check out 'Motherland" from BBC. They've a pilot made written by Graham Linehan and Sharon Horgan which is excellent. I would imagine they will commission it at some stage!

Hereiam

Thought he was good in the Sunshine Boys.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Was in the paper during the week that the viewing figures have dropped off as people have lost patience with it.

Please please let something of substance happen next week or I'll be out too!!!

I understand the slow burn but you need something mad to happen every once in a while to keep the interest spiked... Some of the acting is horrific as well especially the young blade!

There are some amount of mangled accents in it

I watched the Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix.
Interesting stuff. Hard to know what to make of it all!
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

gallsman

Watched the first episode of Season 2 of The Missing having not seen the first season. Thought it was absolutely gripping.

Yeah enjoying it too

The Fall is like a show that was originally  written as 11 episodes but it got so popular they thought, f**k, we better stretch this out for another while. Latest series is pants.

It was worth 5 episodes, 6 at most and then it would have been excellent, then move on to another case in the 2nd series.
The longer it goes on after 6, considering  the evidence in hand and the choices of action, just exacerbates the ineptness of the psni to clusterfck proportions, possibly thee most inept police force ever.  And the  farcical  leaps of credibility in the plot/characters  in order to extend the series,  just destroys it.
I've  finished 8  1/2 episodes  and questioning my sanity about finishing the 9th.

Totally agree. There was no need for this third series with the same characters, totally implausible. I'm probably gonna continue watching but this series has been very poor.
