Anyone enter this? Format looks decent. Maybe there's a thread already on it but I didn't see it. I thought it was for the entire country but its only Ulster players you can pick, still interesting though

Mayo for Sam! Just don't ask me for a year

These competitions are always a good laugh. At a quick glance though, alot of the Monaghan players are arse-ways!

Any of the Ulster boys have a look at it? I need a bit of advice with respect to likely starters, lads injured and goalies.

I'm the same as that but just chanced it. Antrim better do well!

As I say, only glanced through it quickly. But I'd recommend selecting Vinny Corey, he's named in the full back line, and while I'd say he'll probably mostly play in the backs this year you never know when he'll have one of his sojourns in the full-forward line!

Yeah I've a team picked that is Antrim heavy as I'd expect them to do well but I'd like to get some info before I submit my entry. I wonder am I taking this too seriously.......

Had a quick check through some of the local threads on here before I picked the team. Was going to go for CJ McGourty as I'd expect Antrim to do well but Saffron Sam's rumour put me off.

In the end I think I went for;

Finucane (Antrim)

McMenamin (Tyrone)
Corey (Monaghan)
Moriarty (Armagh)

Carr (Down)
Freeman (Monaghan)
McKeever (Armagh)

Gordon (Down)
Doherty (Derry)

Woods (Monaghan)
Niblock (Antrim)
McKeever (Cavan) ?

Clarke (Armagh)
O'Neill (Tyrone)
Coulter (Down)

I'd expect Down to go reasonably well in division 3 and Monaghan to do well in division 2. Hoping for a decent run from Armagh as well.
As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

I went with McGourty, especially after his scoring in the McKenna Cup.
Went for Ronan Gallagher in goal and two Fermanagh defenders (Goan and McDermott) in the hope they'll concede few enough goals. Have Vinny Corey in as well.
I'd say Aidan Carr has to be in every single team, the Ronaldo of GAA fantasy football!
Stevie O'Neill looks a good un too and I took a chance on James Kielt for Derry

Zulu

Who'll be in goal for Antrim? I had Stevie O'Neill in but I'd be bit concerned about his injury history so he is out at the moment. I have the Antrim manager picked also as I reckon they've a good chance of winning the most games, they have 2 or 3 gimmies anyway unlike the other counties. Antrim are also the only Ulster county in division 4 which is another advantage. Who are the free takers for each county, does Seanie Johnston take them for Cavan?

I did the same and re-entered and it seems to have been accepted. Just made sure to pick the exact same fifteen in the positions I picked them first time round
