Declan McKenna with a great point followed by a Conor Tiernan penalty. Sarsfields on their way to their first title since 2005

Donnellys Hollow

Sarsfields 2-11 Carbury 0-11 FT

Sarsfields were out of it for long stretches but Carbury never really capitalised on it. They kicked plenty of wides and couldn't get Eoghan O'Flaherty and Terry Rossiter on the ball enough.

Sarsfields have probably got more in them. Gary White wasn't at his best and Ray Cahill didn't impose himself on the game either. Caoimghín McDonnell made a big impact when coming off the bench and Alan Smith's accuracy was the difference in the end. I'm delighted for Johnny Crofton and it will be interesting to see how far they can go in Leinster. I think they're away to the winners of Rhode v St Patricks.
