Coming into the business end of the season with Champions league Matches midweek is a huge distraction. Today's game sandwiched in between games v Bayern Munich takes a good squad and huge mentality. The game turnaround leaves little time for preparation.

In fairness Villa played Thursday night

Points wise I think Lille are closer to the top than Bayern are.

Trying to go toe to toe with this City team domestically takes its toll. Arsenal have been running on near empty for a few matches now.

I'd start loads of fringe players v Wolves on Saturday.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Ah Jez, foot to the floor time..... get the win and go ahead of City. City won't be feeling to great at the moment and pile a bit of pressure on them.

ONeill

You were right. I thought he'd rest far more than he did.

Arsenal are now asking questions of City. 5-0 tonight not only got them 3 points it improved their GD. They have 2 more games out of the way. If City draw - Arsenal have it in their own hands.

Will be surprise if City don't drop points in their remaining games. Could even happen tomorrow night in tricky game away to Brighton.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Brighton will score first. You will all get excited. City will win 4-1.
As a Liverpool fan I've learnt from the last 5 years that no matter how much you hope City screw up a league game this late on, it just won't happen. Better off to just accept it and look forward to next year. Both our teams gave it a good rattle this year.

Happy St Totteringhams Day to all gunners fans.
Never underestimate the power of complaining

Look-Up!

I think Arsenal have had an excellent year and look to have a really good manager over them. He has steadily improved them every year.
Last year they were sensational at times first half of the season but suffered defensively and as the season wore on, especially with the loss of Saliba, they fell apart a bit at the back and goals dried up a bit too.
This season they have been more consistent and better defensively, probably the best in the league. Took them longer to settle start of season, but since the turn of the year they have been brilliant and handled the pressure of a title race very well. Considering that all this was done while also acquitting themselves in CL, that has to bode very well long term for Arsenal fans.

Doesn't look like they'll be champions this year but that's no slight on them as this City team are so good. But if the blue machine does slip, it would be hard to argue against the gunners being anything but deserving champions. But once they can keep Arteta, I think they'll get plenty more chances next few years.
