Industry S2 back on BBC2 / iplayer, great show if you like Hi finance  & riding. If it hasn't been described as a modern version of This Life I'd be very surprised!

Riding you say?

Gangs of London season 2 out yesterday - first season was brilliant.
'To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal, light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.'

A bit late, but finished PeakyB - loved it. Looking forward to the sequel film.

Surprised about the negative comments re Rings of Power. Presumably that's from LotR fans. I've watched the first 3 episodes and think it's started great. In particular, really enjoying the interaction between the elves and dwarves.  Hope it's not downhill from here.

On a completely different track, I finished the Horsepower series on Amazon. 4 x 1 hour about horse racing trainer Andrew Balding and Irish flat jockey Oisin Murphy. Really enjoyed it. You probably would need at least some minor interest in the sport to enjoy it, but  definitely recommended for anyone in that boat.

Harold Disgracey

Watched the first two episodes of The Peripheral, impressed so far.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities on Netflix, excellent for a Halloween scare.

Ah you should have switched over to Tubridy  licking the boots  of the President of the European Central Bank  and the audience applauding her  .

What was it Christy Moore sang  about Irish people... gombeens and arselickers.

Yellowstone is amazing. Has anyone else seen it?

I've watched all four seasons and I'm still not sure about it!

It's an interesting and real-life conflict (the competing and conflicting interests in the land and the changing of scenic rural areas as rich city folk move in), but it's a bit over the top with the Dallasesque melodrama and violence.

The presence of Kevin Costner definitely helps.

The wife is from that part of the world, and the landscape is every bit as stunning in real life as it is on the show.

Why shouldn't he? A woman rising to the top of the ECB is as interesting as another former shoplifter who punched a lot of woman.
