JC,

did your da ever mention him as a great player? I am sure there were other players from bygone days that may be worthy of a mention here, any others spring to mind?

God

all these names bring back so many happy memories, but if you are talking of Antrims greatest ever what about Kevin Armstrong? never seen the man play, but he his held in such high esteem in the Hurling community at large. Was talking to a load of elderly Tip hurlers after the match in 89 and they wouldnt shut up about him, so any discussion about Antrims greatest must include him, even for a passing moment.

Jonnycool, did you play againsh him? ;)

O bloody hell, another European disaster, words fail me on this display, fine passing, but the final ball is non existant, and as for Louis Haha, don't start me on that one at the minute. Look at the bench, we go looking for a equaliser and we bring on Evera and O'Shea, out and out goal scoreres those two!!!!

away to sit in a darkended room.

Fregie should have played the full team in the last game and we would not be in this dire position, "Squeaky bum time" indeed.

The JFC game is the only one affected, Clones is only fit to take one match so Its an even earlier start!! Pity I might have stayed to watch a bit of the replay

Official line
I take it you can only advance the ball if its a free, and a sideline ball isnt a free and there is no advantage rule. I think this tells its own story, we the great unwashed dont know the rules correctly. we think we do but we dont!!!

i think this thread could be a brillient one if it isnt abused, so guys take it easy
#7045
If the ball goes out for a sideline ball and an opposition player disagrees with the decision can the ball be advanced 10 yards up the line?

also is there an advantege rule?

I bet there are a few refs on this board who will tell you the craic.

lets face it, refs are constantly critisised on this board and amonst the media at large, we do it then? its for the love of the game, without them we cannot play its as simple as that. Go for it Sky Blue!!

So what if they change it, three years wear out of a shirt that costs £40? is fantastic, my children wear their GAA shirts constantly and saves buying a lot of other shirts
