GAA Discussion / Re: Cynical and Negative Armagh?
February 10, 2015, 09:26:56 PM
Feel sorry for the poor wexford manager if sunday left a bad taste! Armagh weren't negative nor cynical enough in 1st 25mins, if we were we wouldnt have been 4pts down and could have been alot more! Wexford fouled persistently and the ref turned a blind eye, what was a free for wexford in the 1st half wasnt for armagh, that would account for his free tally.

As someone pointed out all the black cards were warranted including connells of armagh, and wexford can count themselves not to have lost 1 to a red. And Andy and Miceal mckenna were pulled and hauled every time they got the ball. I would also ask how Findon got a bust nose in 1st half? Which happened in front of the ref but turned a blind eye!

Armagh didnt even play with a massed blanket defence just 1 sweeper at times. The poor man needs to take his team out and give them a ball and show them where the goalposts are, cos if the could shoot they wouldnt have been thumped, and thats fact, they created as many chances as armagh but wasted the majority, hes not complaining about that!

PS wait til he plays Tipp then he'll see physical and cynical (and fair play to them - good young team going places)

This is as bad a second half as I've seen in a long time from Tyrone. Too easily pushed off the ball, really poor decision making and a lack of discipline too. Ah well, at least we aren't Armagh.
U get humiliated and ur infatuation with Armagh kicks in , pityful! I attended and tyrone were poor, peter donnelly has alot of work to do, but transplanting a set of balls aint possible!

Yeah big Sean should be banned.
So should Orange but he needs to let his frustration go somewhere.
I wonder what he would say to Sean if he met him face to face.
I would walk up to BIG Sean, tap him on the shoulder at which he would fall to the ground holding his face, and I would say " Hi BIG Sean you just fall over too easily lad, its really embarrassing to watch" to which wee Colm would come running and say " why you got beef with my BIG Sean? Boohoo"
Then again I wouldn't say anything to BIG Sean cos he strikes fear into anyone he meets!!  ::) ???
Anyway congrats in 4 in a row, fantastic achievement and will leave a legacy that will be hard to follow!! ::)
Dont light too many of them bonfires!?!

Sidebottom. Tyrone have played 3 times in a week. Said it twice. Never mentioned the fact that Cavan had as well. Sean Cavanagh touched falls and rolls. And the amount of times Tyrone players grabbed a Cavan players hand and pulled him to the ground was a shock. Massive display of cyical play and cheating. I'd rather a player hit me a box.
BIG Sean fall down?? Never!! One of the biggest cheats ever to have played the game!
And as for the rest cheating,  they're only buying into the fine philosophy of Harte! :-X
But at least that prestigious trophy now justifies Hartes tenure for another year! Jesys wept  8)

Walsh let himself and Cavan down that day. They annihilated us in the replay and went on to win the All Ireland.

Speaking of fingers in orifices I recently heard a good one from a Galway legend about McGeeney fishhooking him coming out of the dressing rooms before a league game. Not much wonder they're now the scummiest team in the country. And their support in the stand isn't a whole lot better from my experience.
Doesnt take away from the fact that BIG Sean cried like a baby cos he didnt get his own way! Nd you wud have been hammered the 1st day if Walsh didn't do it! And poor Seans still yapping and whinging, it's getting pityful at this stage he should have retired gracefully last year, but stubbornance made him hang around for another Mckenna Cup triumph!   8)
I'd like to hear that 1 about mcgeeney alrite, 1 thing about him is if he needed to say something or do something he wouldn't be sneaky bout it! Nd hes big mates with Joyce and a lot of them boys over there!
Scummy team lol, this coming from a team thats hated for playing 15 men behind the ball and still cant win lol! You obviously still hurting cos we stood behind your flag and youse were found out to be gutless c***ts, crying cos Dunne was "targeted" yet the yella wee whoe hit somebody lying on the ground!  ;)

Lads, could we not get him a job, apartment, girlfriend or some sheep in Tyrone. With Stevie O gone we need a new God for Ciaran McKeever to fall in love with and stop courting big Sean Can.
Id say you could DEFINITELY get him a boyfriend on the Tyrone panel!  ;)  ::)
And dunno if Seanie wud go down as easy as Big Sean, diving cheat (shouldn't use thd word "big"as that infers that hes a big strong physical man, not a big girl who dives about and cries. Remember few back Nicholas Walsh made him leave the pitch in tears LOL!) But the Sean's defo have fair bit in common in that they cry to officials and love running to the media!
Think Cavan cud do without him, think they'll be dark horses next year, hopefully they'll take the Farney prima donnas  8)

Big, brave boy you are. Nicholas Walsh lowered himself to the level of a sewer rat that day. For all this talk of what the GAA is and isn't about with transfers and outside managers etc, it definitely isn't about carrying out the dirty act Walsh did.

But maybe that's accepted in Armagh.
Oh how brave you are slabbering about mckeever, on a cavan issue?? Lets face it BIG sean is a yap and god forbid if you touch him, afterall even if you do legimately tackle him he'll fall like a bag of shite, real manly stuff!!  ;D
You have an issue with Walsh cos he was sent to do a man marking job,  which he done, but because the ref didnt listen to the fairy's whining,  what did he do?!? Yip thats right, Cry like a baby!!! Lol
Oh and kneeing people on the ground, grabbing boys by the balls, and sticking digits up opposition orifices  :'( are tactics reserved purely for footy in the HARTEland! Stand by for the denials lol (sticky fingers Ricey & Gormley  ;)) And thats really brave manly stuff!!  :P

Keep the gaa in the headlines.  We are working a ridiculous timetable to keep in the headlines. Our logic is mad.

Aye, but we're making headlines in January, talking about keeping in the headlines in July. Crazy like a fox.
Anyone see Brogan on late late last night? He basically said that Dubs train at 6am and it's basically a fulltime job!! Dont see Joe making an example of Jim Gavin and Dubs as he believes they play good football so that justifies it! And its the Dubs that are padding out his wallet!
Also in Joes time Colemans training sessions are legenDERRY, know lads from that era and they would say they were cruel and they were training 3/4 times during week and game on Sunday! Joe just likes sound of his own voice!!

Our county board must be growing balls, the county treasurer is having a go at Ciaran McKeever o8m twitter. Or is it just the Moy in him?

@cmckeever6 Ciaran, can you honestly answer why you deliberately target Sean Cav in every melee? Seeing as your such a lovely fella and all.
OMG is that the clown known as Cabbage?!? That poor whore wouldnt know what football was and is as gutless,  hasn't the balls to unprotect his tweets, hardly the behaviour that the position demands, I would hope that a discreet phone call is made to Mrs Jordan who was welcomed with open arms yesterday and insist that the muppet retracts it! What other county would have a county board member involved in that sort of crap!!
Could you imagine the outrage if someone tweeted something about Mcarron?!? Who was also very well treated yesterday by all sections of the armagh support (including me) ;D

Have I missed something? What did he say in the tweet that was so offensive? What should he retract?
Says it all! You honestly think its acceptable for a senior county board executive member to be making contact with an opposition player who received a red card earlier that day! As I said it wouldnt happen from any other county, and wouldn't be tolerated in any other county! Bit of craic blah blah, it crosses a line, full stop!

But what did he say that was incorrect or offensive? I think you're over reacting a bit and in a very personal and aggressive way. But like I said earlier - you Armagh lads are very touchy. McGeeneys aggressive tactics are clearly rubbing off on the fans.
Its the principle of a county board official "having a go" at a rivals captain! But thats obviously now acceptable in your eyes! Pityful! As for personal, I have told this chap in the past in the Moy hes a clown, didn't realise he had climbed the ladder (or slipped in the gutter - depending on ur view)  8)
As for touchy, whos doing the crying about "you hit our Sean" Lol

that's poor personal and abusive on yer part.  Mr keever is man enough and so is the other man to have a spat if they want.  Isn't that the Craic with Twitter.   You have attacked a great gael there for having an opinion and addressing it personally.  What sort of nanny state do you want.
Youre missing the point! So you're happy that a member of your county board is contacting Mckeever!?! Its not just an ordinary Joe Soap, if it was then no big deal! That Moy clown is an embarrassment, or maybe hes now a hero!?!  ::)

It would be interesting to know would fans rather support a team of nicey nicey footballers who dive and whinge at refs to cheat but at the end of the day wont win anything, OR a team of physical footballers who put their bodies on the line for the cause that also wont win anything???? I know which one id prefer, id rather coach children into tackling etc than lying down when tackled!!

By rough if you mean instigating a row, then trying to divert blame to Armagh, then falling over at the sllightest contact, then Yes very very rough!!!  ;D  ;D

Findon can have no complaints about walking,he had no interest in playing football today.
Neithor did cavanagh, spent his time whinging to officials, falling to ground when he got his hands on the ball and tapping over soft frees, contributed very little from play! Shadow of his former self (bar the diving, thats never left him)  ::)
