Most of these lads have went straight from flat out colleges football, to flat out condensed season county u20s
Please God they get the win, enjoy it, take a rest and get ready for senior club football
McKenna cup is the next time some of them should see a county jersey
Tyrone rushed 5 lads from the 2022 u20s. Niall Devlin, Steve Donaghy, Ruari Canavan, Conor Cush and Michael McGleenan were all added to the senior panel. It didn't work in 2022, and it won't work in 2024

Very different as it was straight knockout in 2022 when Tyrone played Armagh. This year you have 3 groups games. And a squad lacking depth. Be game time there for them this year you would imagine.

Don't know what championship you were watching but it wasn't straight knock out. Derry beat Tyrone in the first round and Armagh beat Tyrone in first back door round. There obviously would have been more games if we had beat Armagh but we didn't.

At half time I thought there could be something in that game for us today. V disappointing outcome, notwithstanding the sending off, the performance levels dropped.

Penalty decision was a joke

Well done lads. Good and bad in parts, got the goals at the right times, defended well.
Galway a limited enough outfit. Mayowestros will be a big step up.
Hopefully the revenge factor will motivate and we can keep Kobe quiet as well.

I'd be more worried about Evan Walsh.

A very different and more focused Kerry for this round 1 group game compared to last year. Lesson learnt whereby they could easily have missed out on top spot with that defeat.

Half time Kerry 0-15 Monaghan 0-2.
Full time Kerry 0-24 Monaghan: 1-11

God I'd have had Derry as clear favourites... still haven't seen anything stand out from Galway for them to beat Derry this year
