Low key stuff thus far between Galway and Derry 0-4 each.

And no injuries to the Glen players which was what all the early season fuss was about. Just bad luck.

The break between the Donegal game and today was very much needed for those players.

Quote from: God14 on Today at 12:47:56 PMMost of these lads have went straight from flat out colleges football, to flat out condensed season county u20s
Please God they get the win, enjoy it, take a rest and get ready for senior club football
McKenna cup is the next time some of them should see a county jersey
Tyrone rushed 5 lads from the 2022 u20s. Niall Devlin, Steve Donaghy, Ruari Canavan, Conor Cush and Michael McGleenan were all added to the senior panel. It didn't work in 2022, and it won't work in 2024
Very different as it was straight knockout in 2022 when Tyrone played Armagh. This year you have 3 groups games. And a squad lacking depth. Be game time there for them this year you would imagine.

Don't know what championship you were watching but it wasn't straight knock out. Derry beat Tyrone in the first round and Armagh beat Tyrone in first back door round. There obviously would have been more games if we had beat Armagh but we didn't.

Knockout as in back door rather than round robin last 16

Quote from: SHEEDY on Today at 05:18:17 PMWhat's going on with Offaly? 2 really poor results for them

Bit of mystery alright. A number of their 2021 All Ireland U20 winners on that Offaly senior team now and they have the same manager Declan Kelly.

Phew. Good win in a potentially very tricky tie. Second guaranteed.

See laois Celtic challenge team had a good result today .seem to turn over a fancied Meath 2-12  - 0-14. They are in the finals of the Celtic challenge competition now  . Anyone know who they are playing and where?

Need to see more results like this in the county

2 up 5 to go. I have read several times about the Wexford goalie making saves. Hoping it doesn't come back to haunt us.

And a strong candidate for the worst goal miss of the season.
