Embarrassing from the Mayo forward line today. Yet again their piss poor forwards have been found out on the big day

Fortunately, those piss poor forwards were good enough to beat overfunded Dublin.

How many All Ireland titles/medals have those Dublin players? This year you had a Dublin squad who were running on empty and their priorities were other things than winning another All Ireland.

The reality is this Mayo squad isn't anywhere near the quality of the sides that pushed Dublin so close and they are as far away from winning Sam as they've ever been

Tyrone were worthy winners. Shot selection/decision making/skill levels were piss piss poor form Mayo while Tyrone made their chances count.

Serious questions need to be asked of Horan and his mangement team. Shambolic is the only way to describe that Mayo performance and once again Aidan O'Shea scores nothing on All Ireland finals day when the pressure osoon

I have no problem with Dublin or how they play the game

I have a problem with the match officials not doing their jobs

Realistically the last day-he missed 4 red cards for Dublin and one for Mayo

(1 for McCarthy, 2 for John Small and one for Paddy Small. DOC could have gotten a red for a very high challenge near the end. Dublin yellow for the pull back was a yellow, but  a few years ago Keegan was given a lack for exactly the same foul)

Con O'Callaghan should got black on Keegan. Byrne on McLoughlin pulled the jersey and McLoughlin dived to ground . That is not black card.

Does it really matter? Mayo got the benefit of a dodgy referee, but against Tyrone they got found out. Without a top quality forward they'll won f**k all even with help from the officials

Bullshit. If he was a Dublin player under Jim Gavin he'd have dropped him. He's a great fielder but in all his years he's never worked on the other parts of his game.

He's actually unlucky he never had Jim Gavin as his manager. He wouldn't accept his poor football/shooting skills and he'd have made him work on them or he'd have dropped him from the panel.

It was groundhog day. Like all the All Irelands against Dublin they can compete all over the pitch but when it come to forwards who can kick a point they are a long way short

Poor game and Mayo got found out in the 2nd half. They stumbled past the dubs bit when they needed their forwards int he 2nd half yet again they let them down.

I was amazed Mayo were favorites based on their poor forward line. Tyrone have a far more rounded team (better bench) and that was key. Some of the efforts by the Mayo forwards in the 2nd half were embarrassing and must have been heart breaking for the rest of the team as they're dominating the Tyrone kick out.

Aidan O'Shea is a great fielder but what does he work on in training? His point shooting is embarrassing for an inter county footballer.

It's a pity he never played under Jim Gavin. I genuinely think he'd have made him work on his ball skills and he'd have made him some player

Mate the ref being a dick or not Ireland still should have won that match they were causing Portugal all sorts of problems but then sat back for the last 30 mins waiting for the inevitable. Kenny is untouchable as always even though his subs were questionable and too late

Portugal are a better side than Ireland and they were always going to dominate possession in the 2nd half. That's what good teams do. Ireland counter attacked really well in the 2nd half and some really gutsy defending.

Disappointing that you'd use that Irish performance to troll everyone else and slag them off

Who am I trolling? Who am I slagging? I criticized Kenny for the subs. I felt  the team could have shown more composure in the second half when it was clear Portugal were panicking. I'm the one being told to f off and f off to England lol in case you haven't noticed

If Christie was only interested in the money he'd have waited until the summer to leave Celtic and signed for a club on a bosman. That's were the money is. That's what Pogba is going to do this summer

Do you know how many people watch Palace highlights compared to Celtic highlights?
Most people who watch Palace who are not actual supporters will see them coincidentally.
I watch Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A highlights but pick and choose depending on who's playing,  what the score is and if there is a specific connection.
I sure has hell don't go out of the way to watch Sassuolo, Reims, Alaves or Crystal Palace.

The tv income tells you people all over the world watch the premier league (including highlights packages) In Australia we used to meet in pubs to watch their version on MOTD on a Monday evening and the pub would full of lads watching it.

Edouard scores goals for Palace and he'll gain a hell of a lot more attention than he got at Celtic. Can't have been easy to motivate yourself when you're winning every week with ease and you've won everything for 3 years in a row.

He's getting a pay raise and will be playing with and against better players every week. This is a step up for him and if he does well at Palace he'll get another move to a bigger club again

The point is that Eddy coulda been a contender like VVD who was highly regarded by Celtic fans and who was destined to move on to  higher things for club and country. Sure enough VVD hit the ground running and still hasn't stopped.  Eddy is carrying huge question marks  and is likely to sulk and sink at Palace unless there is a radical reversal. Once upon a time he was untouchable for Celtic and for France u21s, now he's destined to spend his time in the lower echelons of football ignominy at an unremarkable club like Palace. Truly a sad state of afffairs.

He's moving to a league were he's going to get tested against the best players every week. What was his motivation in Scotland? He's won everything, playing against sides every weak far inferior to Celtic (except the games against Rangers) so no wonder he's unmotivated and wants a new challenge. Also VVD went to Southampton from Celtic and people were criticsing the fee Liverpool paid for him when they signed him. Would they be a bigger club than Crystal Palace? I'd consider them of similar standards, but again both at the moment would be playing at a far higher stand than Celtic and have better players.

More people watch Crystal Palace every week through the global appeal of the EPL than Celtic. Can you please expand on how you think playing in the EPL for anyone is football ignominy? Is that a typo and you actually meant the SPL? Ryan Christie would rather play in the championship in England this year than the SPL for Celtic.   

Not much talk now from the usual suspects about the Thousand Year Reich and Dublin's twenty All Irelands in a row. Everyone now seems to agree that we have indeed been looking at a golden generation of players.

It's Murphy's law. He follows Mayo for years but because they couldn't beat the dubs he decides that's it I'm supporting Dublin from now on and then look what happens. If I was a Mayo fan I'd be asking him to put Tyrone flags up outside his house and to support them in the final.
