Quote from: southtyronegael on Today at 11:44:50 AMThought the u20s were excellent on Sunday. Some great attacking football and super defending. No,5(ohare?) And no.2 looked really good in defence.

Do you seriously not know their names?

On a tender a pre tender estimate is normally provided with breakdown.

Tipp pick up the Munster minor title with a good win over Clare last night, they're also in the U20 final on friday evening playing Cork, something positive in a very dark week for Tipp GAA.

Quote from: Duine Inteacht Eile on Today at 08:29:20 AMThe message I'm taking from that is that the British Government is delaying the stadium at the minute.
However, are the GAA themselves not in the middle of a tendering process which is delaying it anyway? Is the British Government holding that up? Is there a point in the British Government declaring what they can put forward until the total cost is known?

Is it out for Tender at the moment? If I was a company considering tendering for this, I'd be looking at it thinking I've no idea what the budget will be as the funding isnt there. Is it worth the risk of tendering (with all the associated costs of that) to perhaps get excluded as our price exceeds a budget yet to be agreed.

Surely you tender based on your cost modellling of the actual plans and specifications, no?

The budget can't be locked down until those tenders are in, but CHH is backtracking like a good one, although the Minister responsible, Mr Lyons doesn't seem to be pushing too hard either.

Quote from: theskull1 on Today at 09:25:27 AMIf your club has a senior reserve/second team, how many games have they played this year?

Does anyone else think it's a metric that's not getting much attention but should be?

Have Loughgeil put a reserve team into Div2?

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on May 20, 2024, 09:44:38 PMI been to a number of games, think they competive enough. There not alot of goalkeeping options in the county. Not alot of possible stand out future county men. Alot of the very good players are not big. There is a very good lad playing No.11 for Castledawson whos he? Wouldn't be the biggest!

I don't get to many club games these days but I'd have though there were some good players coming through from those county minor/u20 sides? We already have a 2nd keeper in Scullion at the senior county level so we're covered there for a while.
Championship is usually competitive enough, 3 teams realistic contenders and 1 or 2 others can always can always win on a given day.

Quote from: Captain Obvious on May 19, 2024, 11:09:34 AMMinor Semi finals results yesterday

Donegal  1-7 Armagh 2-8
Derry 2-14 Tyrone 1-10

Final May 26th at 1pm in Healy Park

Great to have an Armagh underage team reach the Ulster final. It seems like it has been a long time. O'Rourke has done a very good job with these lads. All the best to them.
