If you're going to deal in facts and not fantasy you'll know that (i) McGuinness was a central figure in turning the republican movement to peaceful politics and keeping it there; (ii) McGuinness is recently back from the US with an assurance of jobs for the north; and (iii) the IRA ceasefire was announced in 1994 – One, Nine Nine, Four. Jeez, Phil, that's near to TWENTY YEARS ago.
If he's going to 'deal in facts', then surely he knows that the IRA broke their 2004 ceasefire in February 1996. Martin has been "keeping it there" since 1997 - One, Nine Nine, Seven.

Looks like a smart move by Mary Davis to disclose her finances - stops a 'drip, drip' of details in the press over the duration of the campaign.

http://www.thejournal.ie/mary-davis-releases-full-tax-filings-and-encourages-other-candidates-to-follow-suit-243849-Oct2011/

Her challenge for the other candidates to do likewise could also be interesting.

Is her position as head of the Special Olympics (salary €156k in 2010) a full time job?  If so where the feck does she get the time to sit on all these boards?
Where are you getting the €156k from?

EDIT: Just checked my link and the €156k is all earnings, including position within Special Olympics Ireland. The role of Chairperson (or Board member) generally isn't a full-time job.

So the €156k is her earnings from all her positions, then??

In the North anyway, is a P60 not issued by the employer (in this case Special Olympics) detailing the amount of tax paid by the employee?  Maybe in the South it's different and it's more like a tax return listing all income??  If you read the declaration above the words "Employer's Name" it would seem that this refers to her Special Olympics postion...note the words "blah blah blah in this employment"
Maguire?? Which is it?
I assume it must be what AQMP says. I was only ever going on what was reported by thejournal.ie - I have no agenda either way.

'Ireland' is the official name of the 26 county state, not 'the South', 'the Republic', 'the Free State' or anything else. It's in the Constitution - Article 4.

The thing is, the name of a sports team isn't defined in the Constitution. But the Constitution defines the name of the state and the role of the President. Can you see the difference?

So nobody needs to tell Stephen Ferris anything.

Well if your going to bring that up, go have a look at Article 2.
