Cant get the head round it at all. Brendy McVeigh should be gettiing an allstar. OK he conceded 6 goals in the championship as apposed to Quirkes 3, but the saves he made were class, Especially on the big day, vs Kerry, Kildare and on Sunday. Benny should get an allstar. There wont be a word about him, but Mark Poland scored in every round of the championship too. Great personal acheivement for him.

How much credit should be given to Quirke for Cork's performance at midfield on Sunday?

Even in general play I've never seen a goalie on teh ball so much.

After being caught on the ball early on Cork starting passing to him a lot and his distribution was good so he probably has to take some credit.

One on one McVeigh was great though. Couldn't be beaten so I thought he would shade it.
