Down 3-16 St Mary's 0-10 FT according to Down website - sounds like a decent win from an odd looking line-up

St Marys must have crumbled in the secon hlf after posting 0-08 in the first...

Derry 1-7 Fermanagh 0-10.

Sounds like the last 5 was where it all happened!
Great news!! It was lookin very bleak at half time. Fair play to big Diver.

dublin won 0-15 to 1-7. shocked but happy enough. not bad missing 38 players!
that's been dublin's problem for years though, plenty of players at a decent standard, not enough outstanding players.

midLouth

Louth beat UCD, can't remember the final score but there was a fair bit between them. Maybe 2.14 to 1.3.

Roscommon 3-13 Sligo IT 0-5
Fergal O'Donnell gets off to a winning start as new Ros manager, while several of his 2006 minors were helping out the various colleges.

GMIT 1-9 Leitrim 0-11
Donie Shine kicks 1-2 in the last 10 mins to deny Mickey Moran a winning start. Leitrim finished with 13.

NUIG 2-10 Mayo 1-8.
Cathal McHugh and Conor Devaney scoring NUIG's goals.

Well done Ros. They were a credit to Fergie yesterday as they matched the total no of wins in 2008.
Refreshing football with a team showing purpose and shape and not treating the ball as if it was some sort of disease to be avoided or got rid of at all costs as it used to be under Plaidhcmaughan.
HOWEVER..... it's only January and Slito I T were dire so we wont be getting carried away.
Still 3-13 and the U21s hitting 3-12 on Saturday  :) ...at least Ros fans are smiling again.
Donie got 1-6 in total while Cathal and Conor hit 2-3 between them against our "lovely" Western neighbours.
David Keenan and Cathal Cregg played for DCU yesterday and James McKeague played for Athlone.
Meanwhile Enda Kenny,(who I hear is not on the Ros panel this year??) wore the Sligo IT jersey yesterday.

UP ROS
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM
