Sligo match fixed for Breffini Park, disappointing tbh. And it's a 4pm throw in on the Sunday. 90 mins from Sligo, 2 hours on some bad roads from Belfast, obvs more from south west. Thats an unfair venue I think

Probably not a lot more they could have done than 1.5 hours from one county and 2 hours from the other. Seems fair enough to me.

After watching Offaly un20 on TnaG last night with their Passion and brilliant workrate and no little skill and the thousands of their followers completely enthralled we Laois can only wish that a man of the calibre of Michael Duignan can emerge from the county and replicate what he has done ,I know he is not totally responsible for it all but he put the framework and personnel in place to let nights like last night attainable.  We can only dream

Laois miles behind in every area in comparison to Offaly

Offaly which is a smaller County population wise to Laois

Offaly also have tradition and a good few all ireland medal winners involved at all levels which counts for something

Laois don't

The 2022 Minor Leinster Final v Offaly will be the high point of Laois underage Hurling for many years to come

All I see here are lots of lads with their eyes wide shut. You can't even entertain the possibility that Hamas fighters may have raped some women. The same fighters that were gunning down unarmed civilian. Do you deny that also? 

No one is doubting that Israel is a liar and has made up completely spurious stories regarding what happened. They can't help themselves. No one is denying that they are a shower of murdering genocidal criminals. They are cited in the ICC report for it.

But both the UN and ICC say they have grounds to believe sexual violence took place. I'll withhold judgement myself thanks. None of us have seen the evidence and neither have any of your favourite online news blogs.

where have I or anyone not entertained it? I have been consistent and twice in the last 3 posts have said sexual assaults happen in all conflicts... Amit Soussana is the only potential creditable report. the AP (maybe they might meet your standard of reporting) yesterday have a laughable debunking of two Zaka fake claims which were are are widely reported.

again yesterday widely shared on social media was the a video of idf soldiers being captured with fake translation associated with it, already debunked.

you stay ignoring rape by Israelis, torture, genocide, ethic cleansing and keep to to the zionist talking points.

I've said Israel are criminals and committing genocide.

I note also the UN report cited Israeli soldiers for sexual violence and threats at checkpoints. You accept those UN findings, right?

I am trying to find out information about the Celtic challenge. Seems hard to come by.
This year laois are in the division 3 final v mayo
2023 laois didn't make it out of group stage
2022 lost division 4 final
2021 -1997 any one any information???
1996 won division 4 final.

Seem laois have always been in division 3 or 4 of the competition.


Have laois ever won division 3 or higher ??

Celtic Challenge started in 2016

Laois have always been in and around Division 3/4

Never understood why folk look for some sort of celebrity type figure to run a country. As far as i'm concerned you want someone that is competent and just gets on with the job. The less controversial the better. In short do the job you were elected to do. Hated Major at the time but when i look back he was in different league to what came after him in his own party.

He's not coming out of those blood scandal enquiries too well either.

England a complete basket case but then are we any different here.

You'll be hearing a lot about Education from the Tories during the campaign, there's been recognised improvements in educational standards in England & Wales in recent years, Scotland has regressed, NI stalled or regressed.

Sad thing is, we'll be swapping one shower of odious bastards for another shower of odious bastards. I wouldn't trust Starmer as far ad I could throw the cnut.

Agree with the sentiment.

My fervent hope is that Starmer has been coy in terms of his true intentions with issues such as Brexit, and that once in government, he will look to effectively ditch Brexit, address the desperate situation that the NHS (along with a range of social care services) finds itself in and renationalise things like water and transport.

My fear though is that he will simply be a Tory of a different colour, which will leave a very bleak outlook for us all, that only some sort of longer term seismic shift in politics will address.

Hearing there has been Senior call ups for Shea O'Hare, Michael Rafferty and Eoin McElholm. Would have been expecting Cassidy and Potter as well but haven't heard anything. Wouldn't surprise me to see them three playing a part over the next 3 games. The pace of O'Hare and McElholm could be a big difference late in games. Pace be one thing our senior team has lost since the All-Ireland win, especially in the middle 8.

McAneney, O'Hare, Rafferty, McElholm and Cassidy rumoured to have got the call up during the week.
