Keegan Bradley resists the urge to pick himself for the Ryder Cup

His picks were: Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Hatless Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns.

In addition to the automatically qualified Scottie Schefler,J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English and Bryson DeChambeau

Don't think it's a great team out for selection. Henley may struggle at BPB, English doesn't appear excitable enough. Morikawa been struggling for a year although finding some form maybe at the right time.

JT could fire up the two rookies and Sam Burns will be hard to beat as well.

Schauffele hasn't been powerful this season either!

Europe runs it back for Bethpage with the same team as they had in Rome with the exception of Rasmus Hojgaard replacing his twin brother.

Feels like a fine margin could decide this one, really like the shape of the European team.

I'll have what Sergio is smoking. 1 win, and 2 top 10s in a shit league. He was nowhere near making this Ryder Cup team.

Rory's putter going to have to heat up a little before Bethpage.

Round has just not got going but only 4 off. Birdie at the last would still have him nicely placed for tomorrow

gawa316

Eagle would've been even nicer. 4 off the lead, should be an interesting last day

Was down at the K Club today. Rory is playing with a smile on his face but left a few out there today. The wind started whipping up later in his round but he's still well in it. Much more pleasurable viewing experience than Portrush as the crowds more manageable.

I was flicking last night and saw the Walker cup was on. It's being played at Cypress Creek. I have only ever seen photos of the course but to see it on TV in all is glory is something else. It looks phenomenal Can't believe it's not used for big tournaments. Had a quick check online and it's to do with it being so exclusive that the PGA give it a miss. As for the walker cup very close, GB and I a bit unlucky with the last couple of matches and could be leading instead it was 6.5- 5.5 for USA

That was a crazy birdie by McIlroy.
