There is a thread for Song You Never Sick Of.

Well what about them songs that get into your head and get stuck there? They say the way to get rid of them, is to get it stuck in someone else's head.

Inflict that pain here.

You'll Never Walk Alone.

Hardy

I'm being tortured. Every morning I wake up with "Rivers Of Babylon" in my head. I don't know where it comes from. Am I dreaming the same dream every night? I can never remember anything like it in a dream. Is the Mrs trying to drive me out of my mind by putting headphones under my pillow and playing it while I'm asleep? If she's after the legacy I wish she'd resort to more traditional and less sinister methods, like a tripwire on the stairs or a lump hammer to the temple in my sleep or the simple old-fashioned carving knife between the shoulder blades.

If I'm doomed to spend the rest of my life with a groundhog day song, why does it have to be an odious piece of trash like this? Can I get help?

I havent laughed like that in a long time Hardy - great stuff.  What a brutal song to be trapped in the head though.  Was that Pato Banton?

I have that Lenor Ad stuck in my head this last while, all day, every day.

The myth goes, if you pass it onto someone else, it leaves your head. Must be true, as the Lollipop song left my head soon after posting it here.

The song that is stuck in my head is 'Too Toot Chugga Chugga Big Red Car' by the Wiggles. This is not due to any mental episode on my behalf, but my 19 month old young lad loves it, and demands to see it on YouTube every evening, at least 10 times.

For your delectation :)

Apparently you will remember all annoying songs because it is all to do with your brains ability to recall sequences..If a snippet from a annoying song gets linked to that sequence the link is reinforced...Say you always hear a particular song when you are doing something...every time you do this again the same link will appear......apparently anyway!
