Yes, Wanderer, the County Minor trophy has been there that long it has become quite dusty!

I'm just surprised it's been in the cabinet at all because it hadn't been out of the local papers for a good while there

skiddy we had the same problems for years with minor and lots of underage throphies until we decided to get players who would take senior football serious and not have to be begged at the end of season to come back to play when there might be some glory on the horizon. you should try it. its hard to beat hard work, loyalty and desire. forget about the glory seekers and develop the loyal players in the club.

Wha?

iv heard about clutching at straws but a report of last years u21 match with the ogs in this weeks observor. we had some laugh at that. just as well we dont reproduce last years reports of championship victories over the harps at all grades or the paper would be full :D

Back row left to right, Colum Doran (Sean's brother) and Harps Assistant Secretary, Tony Kelly.

This is the second year that the memorial trophy will be played for, with Keady having secured a hard fought win in Abbey Park last year.

Nearly £3,500 was raised that night for Marie Cure Cancer Care and this year's proceeds will be equally shared between Marie Cure Cancer Care and the Keady Doctors' Centre.

The game throws in at 7.15pm on Friday 7th May in Gerard McGleenan Park, Keady. The Cup presentation will take place in the Sportsmans Bar in Keady after the match.

Any reports from the game on Friday night,

Good win. We had a relatively inexperienced team out although Keady were understrength too. Match was tight for about the first forty minutes or so, before we puled away in the last quarter. Good to see youth getting its chance!!

Good win tonite, only seen about 20mins but St. Peter's looked well out of there depth, what about the mighty Butler!! theres hope for us all
