No country for old men

What a film!

Absolutely brilliant, we'll be talking about it in 30 years.

I was a bit annoyed with the ending at first but the more I think about it the more I think it was a great.

I was thinking of going to alien vs predator but I've been hearing mixed reviews.   :-\

Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

Minder

Supposed to be a great show, gonna try and get to see it this week, the novel that the film is based on (stays very true to book apparentley) is in Waterstones for about £4 Pints.

it's up for 8 Oscars - same as the new Daniel Day Lewis flick "There Will Be Blood"

I see Javier Bardem has won a few awards, nominated for several more, he was outstanding.

I'll have to have a look out for that, add it to my pile of must read books.

Author is Cormac Mc Carthy, its £7.99 rrp but they are doing it half price in Waterstones.

Are you old enough to be shaving Ziggysego?

Pint - why did you start a new thread? This could have been covered in the Movie Recommendations Thread that you contribute to all the time. You're just cluttering up the board. Someone who spends as much time on here as you do should know better.  :-\

Mentalman

Saw it Sunday night, it's good, very good, but it'sa bit of a departure for the brothers isn't it? Not in the aulity of the movie but in the lack of humour. Javier is brilliant. For instance I really felt for the Woody Harelson character as you know immediately, as he does, that the game is up. The ending is great, if a bit abrupt, I think everyone in the cinema goes "WTF?"

I dunno, a lot of similarities with Fargo I thought, very dry. There certainly was a sense of "Is that it? What happened?"  :D
