Not to be overly cynical but if you lived in an area rife with poverty and you struggled to keep your own head above water why would you make things more difficult for yourself by bringing children into an environment like this.

This is a phenomenon of poverty but with welfare statism its more complicated.

Agree 100% but the couple in the article were not a couple of teenagers.

The crazy thing is you'll have ones still commuting to work on the bike! There was a lady this morning, about 7.40am on a country road and it was lashing down! Brainless

It has got noticeably colder this past few days.

A bit of a wind chill also, which doesn't help.
