Rob Kearney must be the best exponent of a high ball, in any half of the pitch, in world rugby

The try was top class and it won the game for Leinster along with Sextons kicking.  He is back in form and if he can be like that all the time then we could have a tryly great player.

Short memory about what? Who are the candidates for next irish captain? Heaslip is next in line in my book.

I assume he's referring to his sending off against the All Blacks. Outside of that he has a good disciplinary record.

Heaslip is the obvious choice to captain the side, assuming BOD isn't starting.

He made a big leap to become Lions number 8 but unlike most of that side he really has improved since to be the best '8' around. I'm really looking forward to seeing him against Parisse (spelling? but a genius) and Harinordoquy in the 6N. But I really do think we have another world class Irish player after O'Driscoll and Wood but ahead of O'Connell and I don't say that lightly.

John Fogarty, the Leinster hooker has retired. I do mean to be blunt, the chap has gone a bit mad, depression and panic attacks brought on by repeated concussions while playing rugby.

I only saw it on tv today and feel it should be highlighted. It is sad news and hopefully he can get his life back on track.

Solid performace today, Parra missing that last penalty and Leinster getting the Losing Bonus point could be very crucial in the outcome of this group.  Great start with Horgan try and Leinster unlucky not to get another try in the first half with a great O'Malley, McFadden and Sexton just failing to reach Newca...

Heaslip going off was a big blow - hopefully he is alright for next week - and O'Brien must be completely fooked, thought he would have to go off several times...

Some great performances all over the park - Ross, Hines, O'Brien, both half backs, McFadden, O'Malley and Horgan & Newca were lively too...

Very entertaining game overall and can't wait till next week

Superb perfomance from Leinster today, their defence was immense, O'Malley would remind you of a young O'Driscoll.

Not sure if playing the return game in the Aviva is a good idea, might cost them the win.

O Malley had a fine game. BOD he isnt and never will be. Strewth doesnt take much for people to get carried away

Very hard on Eoin O'Malley but it is O'Driscoll after all!!  Could end up going to this game, depending on a number of factors, the first of which is the 5 or 6 inches of snow outside my door!!

Great win today with another high quality performance.  Seán O'Brien continued his excellent form with two superb tries - I'll defer to Brent Pope's great judgement when he says O'Brien is the form ball-carrier in Europe at the minute...

Seán O'Brien - The Tullow Tank - his hands have improved immeasurably - a back row of O'Brien, Heaslip and Ferris has me salivating at the mouth

Dorce outside
.by Richard Hayes on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:20pm.To the tune of 'Horse Outside'

I play in blue for Leinster, they call me Jonny Ten

I'm lookin for a chance to beat those Munster boys again

I know it won't be easy, it won't come as a gift

The loikes of Isa, Drico, Luke & Shags will hafta shift

But they aint getting nowhere without lineout scrum & maul

The loikes of Leo, Jamie, Cian & Sean to win the ball

And when I get that pass from Reds, and see what's in my way

I'll drop my shoulder, chorge ahead and this is what I'll say

I'll say...

Fock your Strings & Warwick

I've got Dorce outsoide

Fock your Tuitupou

I've got Dorce outsoide

Fock your Earls & Mafi

I've got Dorce outsoide

When I'm lookin for a try

I've got the Dorce outsoide

He went to school in Clongowes, then at Lansdowne he was great

He stepped up to the interpros in 1998

Tackles like a demon, blessed with blinding pace

When he got that try at Croker I slagged Ronan to his face!

We've got world class backs, down the OarDeeEsh

And our droive for foive showed em all who's best!

So when we get to Thomond, and I'm facing Wian du Preez

I'll look that loose-head up and down and give 'im one of these

I'll say...

Fock your Bull & Quinny

I've got Dorce outsoide

Fock your Paul O'Connell

I've got Dorce outsoide

Fock your Fla & Leamy

I've got Dorce outsoide

When I'm lookin for a try

I've got the Dorce outsoide

C'mon Gordon D'Arcy, cross that loine

Let's play those fockers off the pork for yet another toime

And if you think my taunting makes me sound a cruel bloke

Don't worry; when we all wear green we'll laugh and have a joke

Cos if rugby had no banter, it wouldn't be the same

Its fans know how to keep control unlike some other games!

And if Munster thinks they own this tune, they don't and here is why -

I've just got these four words for them - "The Fields of ATHENRY"???!!!

EVERYBODY...

Fock your Strings & Warwick

I've got Dorce outsoide

Fock your Tuitupou

I've got Dorce outsoide

Fock your Earls & Mafi

I've got Dorce outsoide

When I'm lookin for a try

I've got the Dorce outsoide

He's gonna move inside...

He's gonna cross that line...

He's gonna beat yiz down in Thomond Pearrrrrk (Limerick accent)

So Leinster are off to Turnip Park this week for the 'in the mix for six', will be tough as nobody beats Munster 6 in a row.

Nobody beat them 3,4 or 5 in a row either. That said, I do have some sort of gut feeling that Munster might be just ready to put up a performance against Leinster at last. No real reason, just a feeling in my waters, much like the feelings I have had for the past 4 Leinster games. That Croke Park game should not be underestimated in what it did in this rivalry. No longer are Leinster the fancy Dans who will collapse in the face of aggression. In fact Leinster have bullied Munster in at least 4 of the 5 games since. That's where the change has to come. It's a big ask, but if Munster can win the battle up front, then I fancy them. If they lose it, they could be well beaten again.

Still, 12 points clear with a home semi in the bag is a good position to be in.
