Myles Na G.

I thought my Irish was a bit rusty, but I understood every word of the interview with Malcolm O'Kelly at half time.

Looking forward to the Heinken Cup opener now at half 1.... don't know much about Racing other than they have some great players and they are top of the Top 14 so enough said really....

great 1st half by Leinster. 2nd try by Kearney (not Carney) was brilliant.

Game on now with O'Driscoll going off and Racing getting in under the posts in the one move....

On the other hand, if Leinster were to score another try and secure the bonus point that could be so crucial later on - need to make sure of the win first though

Racing were not the most focused side to ever come to the RDS. Messed up all the kickoffs and were all smiles at the finish.

Great game so far... Second half just started Leinster ahead by a point, 12 - 11

What a try.... and then some kick from Sexton who is having a serious game - 6 out of 6 from the boot

Heaslip is the man!! If he isn't the next Irish captain then there is something wrong.

J OGorman

Great result for leinster.

Tyroneboi, you've some short memory. Heaslip is a top player, but next irish captain?

Agreed. If he keeps this up he's a future Lions captain to boot.

Short memory about what? Who are the candidates for next irish captain? Heaslip is next in line in my book.

I assume he's referring to his sending off against the All Blacks. Outside of that he has a good disciplinary record.

Would agree... I remember Tony Ward saying he was a future Irish captain in the making during the Six Nations and I certainly see it now... After his moment of complete madness in the NZ test in June - he has dug in and gave some top drawer performances and has really stepped up to the mark when given the Captain's duties with Cullen out...

An absolute cracker of a finish - Leinster's defence was amazing... for a team to go through 29 or so phases of play and only gain about 12 or 13 metres is unbelievable and the defence was the main cause of that.
