The celebs thing is awful. They've been doing that every  semi and final this last couple  of years.  They're trying too hard to play  it up  for the Brits , even niblock is sickening in  that regard. BBC NI have to persuade someone in London that this should be carried over the water, which probably means that it does not come out of their sports budget. A "take it or leave it" attitude will not do that.

Sarah Mulkeen would be a help though, and someone used to presenting to English audiences.

If the hurling doesn't sell itself , I hardly think a  couple of  comedians at HT for 30 seconds  will keep them watching.

They could have  women mud  wrestling at HT in the rugby , but  you still wouldn't get  me watching it

Fair enough. You could well be right that they've worked out the viewing audience at home wants Neil Delamare and Vittorio Angelone so I hold my hands up there.

Never underestimate public taste in England.
