Apologies if I missed thread, the annual Turkey shoot getting going today.

Be interesting to see if Cork can being anything this year, in fairness they put up a good fight last year.

Kerry to hammer Cork in Munster final. Other teams should just go straight into Tailteann

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

twohands!!!

Standard Cork inconsistency performance according to a friend who was at it. Looked like world-beaters first half, lads who'd never met in the second half. Limerick showed good fight in the 2nd half to reduce Cork's lead but was always too big a gap to bridge.

"No idea how they'll perform against Kerry"

O'Driscoll controlled the game for Cork in the first half. Hard to know if they took their foot off the gas or not.

KErry and Cork not even a rivilary any more. Cork give them a game once every 7/8 years. 10 point defeat would be a great result for Cork.

There was probably some element of taking the foot off the gas but the Cork supporting friend I was talking to definitely wasn't pleased by the 2nd half performance. Said Martin made 2 excellent saves from decent Limerick goal chances and was saying if those had gone in, he wouldn't have bet against Limerick pulling off a shock. As he said Limerick were relegated from Division 3 yet they were clearly the better side in the second half against the wind and starting the half 15 points down. His main gist was there's still a whole pile of questions around this Cork side even after getting promotion in the league.

Defensively Cork have a lot of issues to fix and it appears the defeat to Derry this spring where 1-31 was conceded has left a few scars.  Saying they did get promoted back to Division 1 after a decade of trying and should be up for the Kerry challenge.

Kerry have their problems with needing to overcome the trimming in Croke Park to Donegal not a hope I'd say they'll allow themselves to defend that poorly in a knock out championship game.

For all the talk about their strength in depth they still need their key players starting. For example once the trio of Sean O'Shea and the Clifford brothers all start I don't see any team beating them but they once one is missing they are a whole lot more beatable.

Round 2 U20 championship game between Kerry v Cork has just started

Far from a classic 0-3 each at half time.

Better in the 2nd half and deserved win for Cork 0-10 to 0-9

Are Kerry still in it or was that knockout?

Still in it, group stage and it will likely be a Cork v Kerry final.  A lot of Kerry journalists and pundits are going in hard on Kerry for their performance tonight with the objective of getting a big reaction.

Only 6 from last year's starting 15 start the 1st round for Kerry this weekend.
Have we ever seen so many changes in 2 successive C'ship games, particularly for AI Champions?

Kerry could put out their C team and still winning pulling up. Will be two hammering today with Kerry thrashing Cork in final.  Kerry will priming themselves for All Ireland final this year. Real lack of quality opposition. Donegal peaked too early.
