Definitely the potential there as usual- in their own hands to go up and if they can't beat a Tyrone team with nothing to play for then they don't deserve promotion. Funny old team.

Surely Tyrone don't want to play Tailteann? Lose and they rely on other results

My mistake, hadn't realised they could still go down which would be fair funny.

Unlikely that Kildare and Cavan both win obviously but always a chance. Cork don't seem to travel north  too well though!

Kildare don't have to win. They are playing Sam regardless of where they end up.

But they could relegate Tyrone which would be hilarious :D. Can Tyrone end up in the TC without getting relegated?

👍..third bottom if Kildare go down . So we have to do our neighbours a favour and vice versa, start the healing process I suppose. Could be the start of something beautiful

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on March 16, 2026, 10:15:10 PMI remember a Derry v London game in Division 4, double header with the hurling in Ballinascreen, there wasnt 300 at it!!

I have a friend from the Loup who went to this game, he always talked about it after and how a club league game would have more people than "that time we played London in screen"

Wildweasel74

All depends if lower teams get to a connacht or Munster final.

Dunneroyal

It's very tight for Tyrone. With Kildare guaranteed of been in all ire.
Likely Meath Dublin  Louth Leinster final, so they all above Tyrone (but shocks happen) I haven't looked at other provinces draws. But have any an odd draw ? As in cork and Kerry on same side ? Ie a Clare or limerick in final ? Or in Connacht is there a Ros, mayo Galway on one side ?

rodney trotter

Cork and Kerry can't meet until the final. Mayo will likely face Roscommon in the Connacht semi

Semi-finals

London/Mayo v New York/Roscommon

Sligo/Leitrim v Galway

In that scenario then it would be highly unlikely that Tyrone won't be playing for Sam. The only way would be if an Ulster team reached the final below them. Down ?

If they win the division 3 final I think they are in the sam maguire anyway? (Not impossible they lose but I would say unlikely)

Down are decent and will probably take a few scalps in the championship (assuming they get there) but I don't think they're Donegal decent (who they play in the first round).

rodney trotter

Yeah it would depend on Down winning the league final.  Westmeath beat them in the Division 3 final in 24.

imtommygunn

Wexford Westmeath could be an interesting last game in 3. Westmeath will probably win but Wexford have improved a lot. Could be a surprise there.

Quote from: cavanmaniac on March 16, 2026, 10:51:19 AMFair play to you Cavan supporters that continue to travel and follow the team. These days, it might well be getting harder and harder to justify the time and expense involved.

A little over 600 was the reported attendance the type of attendance one would expect for a Division 4 game.

Jesus, that's poor when you contrast it with the bandwagon clamouring behind Offaly underage teams of recent memory. You'd think a few more diehards would be hanging on a bit more. Cavan fans, meanwhile, have long since lost faith in the team and general setup as they can see it's being very poorly governed and guided.
